We got to the airport in silence. Nobody talked the whole car ride there. You would think they would want to talk before sending me away, but they didn't. I couldn't tell if they were really upset about this or if it was just a big relief that they would have to deal with me anymore. At least they won't see the fuck up come home with new bruises everyday.
I got to my gate and waited for my parents to come back from the area where they were putting my stuff so it could be put on the plane.
"Flight to London now boarding"
That's my flight but my parents are still not here to say bye me and I don't even see them at that area anymore. They must have left while I was turning my iPod on and my phone off.
"Ma'am? Are you joining this flight?" a beautiful woman with a killer smile asked as she was letting everyone through.
I wipe the one tear I had and grabbed my carry on.
"Yeah, sorry." I smile back at her and walk through the gate and through the hall leading to the plane.
I'm starting to feel a mix of emotions so I put my headphone in and leave one out so I can hear the flight attendant, and begin listening to music to try and calm me down.
So far nobody is sitting in the seats next to me. Did my parents do that on pur- Just as I was about to finish that thought a man sits in the seat right next to me and looks at me.
"Hi, I hope you don't mind me sitting here. I hate the end seat." he has such beautiful blue eyes and a beautiful smile.
"That's fine." I smile back trying not to seem awkward but I can feel my cheeks heat up and hope he can't see it.
"I'm Phil." he holds out a hand and I smile again while putting my hand out to shake his in return.
"I'm Aubrie."
I can tell this flight is going to be just fine.

Please fasten seatbelts as we prepare for landing.
I never unbuckled so I didn't have to worry about that but I did make it tighter. Landing always scared me.
I look over at Phil to see he is fast asleep but is unbuckled. I knew the attendant would wake him so he could buckle up but I overheard her wake someone else up and she sounded rude so I decided to wake him myself.
"Phil?" I whispered while tapping his arm.
"Phil.. It's time to wake up." he slowly opened his eyes and smiled a little bit.
"Is it already?" oh my, his tired voice is so adorable.
"Yeah, they just announced it. Gotta buckle your belt." I smile at him but he wasn't looking.
I look back out the window to see it's raining.
"Ugh, perfect. Welcome home Phil." he sounded irritated.
I looked at him to see he had his camera out. He looked at me and smiled. Phil is perfect. Black hair with side fringe, the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen and a smile that could make anyone turn from a bad mood to happy.
"Smile Aubs" he said while putting the camera to his eye.
I smile and he takes the picture.
"Beautiful!" he shows me the picture and I can tell he is actually happy about it.
