Xuman

Act 1 . 1

"Text book, pencil bag, headphones..." Milo listed off the things he needed for school, because there was no way he could come back home and get something he'd forgotten. Feeling content that he was packed and ready, Milo grabbed his bag and locked up before heading out to the bus stop.

He arrived right as the bus pulled in, being the only one to get on he walked all the way to the back and sat down. Pulling out his phone and headphones, Milo plugged in and closed his eyes. Here goes another one hour trip to school.

Most would find it strange for someone to travel everyday to a small town for school, but it was convenient for Milo. No one knew him in this town, school had almost became a safe haven from all the xuman hate groups like THR (The Human Revolt). But there were still students who claimed to be apart of this group, even if it was against school rules to participate in such a violent group.  

But since no one knew him, no one knew that he was a xuman himself.

Feeling a arm wrap around his shoulders made the brown haired teen's eyes snap open, his body quickly freezing up. Too pairs of emerald green eyes filled his field of vision, strands of black hair falling and lightly touching his cheek.

"You know, it's not very smart to fall asleep on the Bus Milo. I could have been a gross old man looking for a good time," Kazu smirked and poked Milo's nose, backing away to slouch in the spot next to Milo.

"Or maybe a gross woman looking for a young man to show her a great time?" This time a teal pair eyes moved in front of face, belong to Kazu's younger twin sister Kain.

"A woman? I think Milo is more a pedo kind of guy."

"Please stop talking about who's more likely to take advantage of me on the bus," Milo squirmed and shoved his phone back into his bag.

"I'm sorry sweet heart," Kain cooed and moved in between the two boys, nuzzling the top of Milo's head. "Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to join Kazu and me after school." She smiled and pulled away.

"Join you doing what?" Milo tired to look at Kazu, he quickly shook his head telling him to say no. "Well, I wanted to relax-"

Kain was giving him the cutest look Milo instantly caved. "I-I'll come,"

"Oh thank you!" She punched Kazu in the arm and stuck her tongue out at him. "I told you he would come you butt,"

Kazu and Kain bickered the rest of the bus ride, Milo instantly falling back asleep laying his head against the cold window.

School always started out slow on a Friday, during his off period he snuck to the music room to listen in on Kazu's class. Easily picking out his friends deep-ish voice from the rest. Listening to his voice always made Milo smile, everything about Kazu made him smile.

The day dragged on and Milo was in the back of the lunchroom, the last period of the day being his other hour of free time. He was messing on his phone when the loud vibration startled him, almost letting his phone drop to the tabletop. "H-Hello?"

"Milo, I'm standing outside your door and I've been knocking for five minuets. Where the hell are you?"

Nickel's angry voice made him wince. "I-I'm at school-"

"You have last hour off, you should be home by now. I booked you for an appointment for the new drug I've been telling-"

"I'm busy today, so see if you can re-"

"I don't care what you have to do, it took me hours to get this spot-"

"You shouldn't even be setting up appointments without me," Milo snapped, instantly turning red.
