"Phat"

Ch.1

I laid in the cold damp grass, surrounding my fairly new house. The trees blew around in the wind. I watched them sway back and forth, as the sun began to rise. I pulled myself up off the ground, and waddled towards the house. I opened the wooden door exposing the warmth of the house upon my face.
I climbed up the stairs tip toeing trying not to wake anybody. It was time to get ready for my first day in my new school. I already knew how it was going to be, just like it has been everywhere else I've gone to school. "All I have to do is keep my head down and make no eye contact." Is what I told myself each time I started a new school. But I always ended up popping my head up thinking "this time is diffrent I know it they won't judge me here!" But of course they do.
After changing into some clean clothes and eating breakfast, I start out the door. I start walking the direction of the school, it isn't but a couple of blocks. I go over my schedule over and over again in my head.
Than I feel a *tap*tap* I look up to see a blonde haired boy looking down at me smiling, in shock I look down "may I help you" I continue to walk. He smirks and walks along side of me "yah your that new girl that moved here a couple of weeks ago down the street from me?" I continue to look down "my names mason, what's yours" he asks politely. I look up at him and manage to spit out my name "hope" he looks at me for a second and than smiles "well hope I'll see you after school I'll meet you here." And just like that he waved and ran to the big cement building that stood in front of me.
After seeing the school I totally forgot about mason my breath became short and my eyes wide, as I heard the final bell ring. The students seemed to scurry into the building, leaving me standing alone out in the open. I stood there debating on going in, or fleeing home.
Just as I start to walk towards the building *bang* I fall and hit the ground, knocking all my thing on to the pavement. I look up to see a skinny blonde, and a group of her friends looking down at me. "Watch where your going piggy!!" She yelled making her friends hiss in laughter.

Than I saw Mason aproch us I thought "he's here to stand up for me" he pushed his way through the crowd, and looked down at me and put his arm around the skinny blonde and kissed her. Than they all started making away, leaving me on the pavement.
It started to rain as I started to collect my belongings up of the ground. I stood up looked at the school and whisperd "maybe tomorrow" I than started walking home.
