That incident was thankfully an isolated one. Stacey apologized for overstepping her boundaries and we moved past it. She eventually married, and had two children. A girl named Tatiana first, then a boy named Ashton. She brought them over to meet me one day. Oh, how wonderful the kids were. I went to the basement to retrieve some gifts I had made for the children. All of a sudden, the hairs on the back of my neck stood straight up, like soldiers in the presence of a President. I'm sure I locked the door behind me. I turned around just in time to see Stacey's son reach up and stroke the exposed surface of the hourglass.
