LAST WARRIOR (SOLDIER X RWBY)

...for a new start

Georges POV
I'm eyes snapped open, I looked about and got off the floor, "what the hell ?, how am I still alive ?" I say to myself, and then the memory started, I died, or was dying, but then I turned into dust, but I was still in control of the dust, and watched the Academy for a week, a week!!!, 'why the hell a week if I could come back to life ?' I thought to myself, then looked at the moon, it was a full moon, but something was different, then it clicked, I needed a full moon, 'a full moon, bring the past, to the future and make it last' I thought, I can't remember where I heard that rhyme, it must have been a while ago, in my past life.

I got up and saw I was wearing my black armour "well, this is awesome" I say, then started to move about, I walked through the corridor, I wanted to see anyone but no one was around, then the faint sound of music from the direction of the hall, "man, they must really like parties" I say, then moved to my room, then remembered hearing about a dance, and that most people have moved on.

I head to my room, it had letters and flowers all around the door, people who sent their condolences to me and team RWBY, I tried to open it, but it wouldn't bodge, so I went to the roof, dropped onto my balcony and the window opened, I never locked it, then headed inside, and sat on my bed, "I'm alive, no one has seen me so they think that I'm dead and they have just overcame their grief, I can leave here and they wouldn't know. It maybe for the best, but I love team RWBY, I can't leave them." I said to myself, the an idea came to my head, either the best idea I've had or the worst, but I feel lucky.

I got into my old no2 and made my way down, but headed through the back of the stage, the teachers and Professors didn't notice me, but then I tapped on the back of Professor Ozpin, the second he saw me, his eyes widened, but none of the others noticed me, "you, how are you alive ?" He asked, in a mix of disbelief and curiosity, "well, sir, I'm trying to figure that out myself, but I don't think that I really died in the first place, I'll give you a full report later, but I must ask of a favour" I say, "yes, yes, cause you can, my dear boy" he says.

Yangs POV
I really missed George, we all did, but we left his room locked, and left flowers, he died protecting us and now he is gone forever, we had to come to this party as he would have wanted us to come here instead of crying in our rooms.

"Hey, you ok ?" Asked Ruby, "Yeah, just upset that George isn't here to enjoy this" I said, we were about to say something but the professor went on stage, "can team RWBY come up here and stand in front of the crowd.
We did as he asked, then he spoke "as you may all know, we lost a valuable member of our academy, he told me to say that he was happy with team RWBY, and all his friends, he gave the White Fang a chance, and he sacrificed himself to save these girls" he said, we were about to cry.

Georges POV,
Everyone looked down, I walked though the line of teachers, who were shocked, then stood next to the microphone, everyone still looked down, "he said..." The professor started, but I took over, "I'm proud of what you all did, but team RWBY have made me the luckiest man alive, I wouldn't forget those moments at night, or at the dances, but... I love you " I said, everyone looked up but didn't say anything, but team RWBY still had their backs to me, I gestured for them to stay quiet, and the crowd did, I walked up behind the girls and cleared my throat, they turned, and I took a knee, "excuse me, but would you ladies like a dance ?" I say.

They were silent, I think they couldn't believe what they were seeing, I looked up, and stood up, then moved up to them, Ruby moved her hand to my face, and I put mine to hers, and crest her cheek, she started to cry, "I'm sorry I was late, but I said I would return, I promised summer rose that I would be here, and I never make a promise I can't keep" I say, they all snap back to reality, I was here, the all hugged me, I kissed each one of them on their foreheads, the crowd cheered.

As the night went on, I danced with team RWBY, and saw Kyle with Cinder and Neo,  but the way he danced, "I bet those two will kiss, hell, think he will get Neo too" I said, "didn't you know ?, Kyle asked both of them out, and both said yes, heard he will have a wild night soon" said Weiss, "yeah, but you are stuck with us though" Blake said, "I know, unlucky me" I said, "so how did you come back ?" Asked Ruby, I didn't know, but I said "well, I heard a voice, or voices, telling me that they loved me and that they wanted me to come to them, next thing I know, I'm on the floor outside" I say, the girls hugged me, the night was still young, so we all danced for abit.

Know the enemy is no longer a threat, I can relax, but the Grimm are still there, and I have a feeling that my fight is not over, not yet, as their is an enemy still to fight, it's still a threat, and I wouldn't stop, but now, I'll relax, it's my time... To make me feel human again.
