(NOT) The final chapter

Georges POV
I saw my sons, Richard has Ruby's hair colour, but my eyes, Walter had my height and facial shape, but Weiss's white hair, Ben had my hair colour and body, but had Blake's cat ears and Yuri had Yangs hair, with my eyes, even has her anger too.

I talked to my sons, I told them my stories from the wars I have fought in, then I heard about a dance at Beacon, "there are a lot of dances" I said, "well, it would get quite boring if we didn't have any" said Ruby.

We had a plan, since most of the people still thought I was dead, then I will surprise them all at the dance, I would wear my no2 again, but I would wear my armour over that, but I will sneak in first.

On the morning of the dance, I headed to Beacon, and I walked in to the professor's office, and told him my plan " hehe, that would be fine" he said, chuckling over the fact that everyone will be shocked.

I walked about and bumped in to a certain pink and black haired teacher, "sorry, I wasn't looking were I wa...., do I know you ?" She asked, "you may have, about 8 years ago" I replied, she looked confused, then her face lit up in recognition, "wait... George, I-is that you ?" She said, "it's nice to see you too, Neo" I said, she smiled, "we're have you been ?" She asked, "I was dead, but this is the last time I'll be back, it takes longer and longer, next time isn't worth the effort" I said, "Kyle would like to meet you..." She said,Mobutu as cut off but two more females, one with Green hair and one with unforgettable, fiery eyes, "hey Neo, who you talking to ?" Emerald asked, "I think a lot of people have forgotten my promises, I believe you would recognise me, especially after I changed the White Fang" I said, then Cinder stepped back, "w-what ?, you can't be..., George" she said, in shock, "yeah, the one and only, I see I made the right choice when I spared you, Cinder, and Emerald, I see that you are with Kyle as well" I said, she nodded, and we talked for a while.

"Kyle is in lessons, come, I'll take you to him" Cinder said, and all three of them dragged me to a door, they knocked and a familiar voice answered, "come in" he said, we walked through the the door and I saw a familiar figure standing in the middle of the room, his Trench coat on and his Gunblade slung over his back, "ah, Cinder, what is it ?, my dear" he said, the class was empty, they were on their breaks, "we have a surprised guest" said Cinder, I walked out from behind them and stepped nest to Kyle, "who are you ?" He asked, "a new student or a teacher ?" He added, "I'm none of those, I'm an old friend, I may have aged since we last met" I said, "what do you mean ?" He asked, Cinder rolled her eyes, "show him a trick or two" she said, I closed my eyes and my old power armour, it looked old and worn in, but he must know, "I stayed behind and took the long way back" I say, his eyes narrowed, and so did half of the crowd, "... George Bowman...." He said, I nodded, "it's been 8 years since that fateful day" I said, I could see old scars in his eyes.

"I looked for you, I went out, but the Grimm were overwhelming, I lost most of my helpers, even one of the kingdoms attacked the party, we fought them off but.... I never thought you were alive" he said, "I wasn't, I died that day, but came back only a couple of days ago,tonight, there will be a dance, and I will make one final surprise appearance, RWBY know I'm alive, but half of vale and Beacon don't, this will be fun" I said, we both held out our arms, and shoulder barged each other, "I guess we will see you there" he said.

Time skip to the dance, brought by the British army, "BE THE BEST".

I was hidden behind the curtains, I saw RWBY in fancy dresses, I wore my no2, I saw miss Goodwitch walk to me, "it really is you, this dance is on the anniversary of your disappearance, it ironic that you comeback to see it yourself" she said, "yes ma'am" I said, then heard a few of the older students talk to Kyle, "I know you miss George, but I think he is in a better place" she said, I saw that Nu had said that, and CoCo was behind her, haha, I see that things haven't changed that much.

Everyone told RWBY that they were sorry about me, my sons were back at the house, asleep as it was late, but everyone pretended that I was dead, even yang put on the water works, "oh, I miss my handsome George" she said, 'that's slightly overdoing it' I thought, then Ozpin stood on the stage, "we will now take a moment of silence to remember the fallen, even though we are here on the anniversary of Captain George Bowman, who heroically sacrificed himself so that his friend could live, we will also remember all of those who have gone missing and haven't returned" he said, everyone bowed their head, "they shall not grow old, as we who are left, grow old, age shalln't weary them, nor the years condemn, and at the setting of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them" he said, "we will remember them" everyone repeated after he said it, then there was two minutes of silence, "now if you could keep you heads down, we will say one more poem.

I walked on stage, no one looked up, good. I then spoke the poem, in Flanders fields.
"In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields." I finished the poem and people started to look up, I then started to talk. "Look up and see the lost, who had found his way home, I am 23243536, Captain George Bowman, i stayed behind with the promise to return"

"I thought he was dead" said someone, "no, it can't be..." Said someone else, I started to speak to the crowd, and made my way to RWBY "I was the dead, but live again, my promises to keep to my loved ones and friends, I am here to stay" I say, and wave to Nu and Sayia, then team JNPR, then took my hat off and bowed in front of team RWBY, "would you ladies like to dance ?" I asked.
