After along time not knowing where to go I decided to go to Santa Monica, it was about 5 hours away from my home town which is San Joes but as I took some wrong turns before I decided to go there , it would now take about 6 and a half hours.

After 2 to 3 hours of driving I felt my stomach growling.
I should have eaten before I left

It was 10:30am and I was tired as hell, according to the GPS I was in some place called Fresno

I saw some restaurants and coffee shops at the side of the street so I thought of having breakfast in one of the shops.

I parked the car, took my bag and got out I double checked that the car was locked and walked on the sidewalk for awhile trying to figure out where will I have breakfast

I stopped at one of the shops and asked for the menu, nothing in there seemed delicious so I left and continued walking till I decided to go back to the car

As I was walking back Towards the car I kept observing the street and the shops.
There was this shop in the other side called "Mary's Recipes" it looked quite gripping, it felt warm, something told me that it was a family business.

I walked to it and went in. I sat at a small round table ,that is meant for maximum 2 people

I was greeted by a middle aged , chubby lady, she had cheeks that were redder than a tomato and a smile plastered on her also red lips. I smiled back as I took the menu she was handing me. She stood there for a couple of minutes waiting for me to tell her my order.
"How about...you surprise me" I said putting my menu down.
" what if you don't like my surprise dear" she said
"Well don't worry I'll like it, do you have fresh orange juice?" I asked
" yes, anything else?" She questioned
" yeah... By any chance are you um Mary" I asked smiling sheepishly
"Well yes I am" she said laughing and left.

As I sat there waiting for the food I remember that I always had a book in my bag, I opened the bag searching for the book and got it out. I opened it and started reading
