Annabelle rose, quite early for her taste. After doing a 8 month tour you would assume most people would sleep the day away. But not for her. Instead she kept her routine of waking up half past 6. She bounced to her window, still in awe of her new surroundings. She had decided to move house 2 months before tour but had barely got to spend any time in it so her break now was to settle in her new home. She was more on the out skirts of Los Angeles, in a smaller more homey feeling place. It was adorable. Plus with a new house comes new surroundings. So after her morning yoga on her deck in the warm sun rays she hoped in her Audi TT to go explore.
Anna finally stopped at a cute quaint organic smoothie shop. As she stepped in the store in her exercise ensemble she saw the store seemed to pretty near empty. But that would be expected at 7:30 in the morning. After ordering a kale smoothie, she sat out on the cute out door furniture and finally put her feet up. Anna let herself relax while taking out the notebook. The new blank slate notebook which would contain potentially her newest album. But now only to fill it with her deepest thoughts and lullabies. After 15 minutes of burying her head in the blank pages did she finally pull up her head to stare at her surrounding. It was just then she noticed a man reading the paper. The crinkle of flipping pages making her smile since no one really reads the paper anymore but on screens instead.
It made her come up with a thought and she scribbled away.
Anna was shook lightly. But no response. So he tapped her harder. No response.
"Holy crap she's out." John chuckled to himself. He was trying to wake the brunette who had been asleep for about twenty minutes. They were the only ones sitting outside the establishment and he was leaving, which would leave her alone. He wanted to wake her up in case she needed to be since no one else would do it after he left. So he tried a new method of waking her up which was running his hand on her back, shaking slightly. Her drowsy eyes finally opened and she blinked until she realize the man was sitting right next to her.
"I'm not a creep." Was the first words he spoke. John silently cursed himself for that being the first thing he said to the beautiful girl. Anna chuckled at the handsome man and he smiled.
"I just wanted to make sure you weren't dead. I'm doing a public service so a poor kid doesn't need to check for your pulse." She let a belly laugh out. He was hilarious.
"Well thank you very much for being so brave for your community," She teased back. 'Holy crap she's cool' John thought to himself as another smile crept on his lips.
"Anytime. I'm John." He held his hand out for to shake and she did.
"I'm Anna! But really thanks, I didn't realize I even passed out."
"I figured since I heard hardcore scribbling but then you started to drool on your paper." Anna laughed again, "Woke me up right before I drown my notebook. Nice." The two brunettes laughed.
"Well it was nice meeting you. Hopefully I'll see you again." John pat her arm as he got up.
"Yeah, hopefully." Anna giggled before collecting her things and walking out with him.
