The next morning Jax dragged Stella out of bed and the two rode off to the Nevada border. Jax helped Stella off his bike and grabbed her hand, lacing their fingers together.
"What're we doing out here?"Stella asked again.
"There's something I wanna see. I read about it in my dads manuscript."Jax answered.
"What manuscript?"Stella asked.
"I found it in the storage locker with a bunch of old pictures and journals. I'll let you read it when I finish it,if you want."
"Sure baby."Stella kissed his cheek.
They walked into some kind of cave and stared at the quote on the wall in red paint.
Stella's eyes looked it over, and she decided to read it out loud:
"Anarchism... stands for liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion; the liberation of the human body from the dominion of property; liberation from shackles and restraint of government. It stands for social order based on the free grouping of individuals."
Stella sat with Jax after reading the quote. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders as she buried herself into his side.
"That was deep."Stella muttered.
Jax chuckled and kissed her forehead. He stared at the wall,he looked to be lost in his own thoughts.
"What's got you distracted,baby?"Stella asked.
"It don't feel right."He muttered.
"What don't?"She quickly pulled away in slight fear.
Jax grabbed Stella and pulled her into his lap. He kissed her reassuringly, relaxing when they pulled apart.
"It don't feel right to leave Jury unprotected when he's got all this shit with the Mayans and watching our guns."Jax clarified.
"You talk to my dad?" Stella asked.
"He's not budging,baby."Jax sighed.
"You didn't push hard enough, babe."Stella smirked and kissed him, telling him her plan to finally push her dad into protecting their new charter.
___
"Dad?"Stella said into the phone. She watched as Jax stood by the rows of bikes.
"Baby girl? What's wrong? Everything okay?"
Stella roared Jaxs bike, almost yelling into the phone.
"Dad,Jax and I are being tailed by Mayans. They spotted us on the way back to the club house."
"Get here quick. We'll have the boys ready."
She hung up as Jax kicked over the bikes. He ran to his idling bike and Stella wrapped her arms around his waist just as he drove off.
They arrived at the clubhouse and Jax drove right in as Jury and Clay were barking orders. Stella grabbed a shot gun and stood by Jaxs side as they took their places and shot back at the Mayans.
The next day,Stella and Jax walked into Saint Thomas with Jaxs arm thrown lazily around Stella's shoulders. They walked towards the NICU and Stella tensed when she saw Tara in the room. Jax stopped her just before they went inside and kissed her, marveling at the fact that she relaxed with his kiss.
"I love you Stella, don't you ever question that."Jax smiled, kissing her once more before grabbing her hand and leading her into the room.
"Hey doc, how's our boy?"Jax greeted Tara, pulling Stella closer with each word. He knew she was jealous and things didn't end well when Stella was jealous, and he knew just how to reassure her she had nothing to be jealous of.
"He's doing good."She replied after the smile on her face fell.
Gemma sat in the rocking chair, watching the scene unfold right in front of her eyes. She watched Jax hold onto Stella, just like he used to when they were teenagers. She knew Jax only really loved Stella, but she knew that Tara wasn't going to give up too easily.
Was Jax's love for Stella strong enough to endure the obstacles thrown at them? Or would there be a repeat of someone leaving for the sake of both of them?
Tara watched the way Jax stared at the crib, while his arm stayed around Stella. It felt like her heart broke into millions of pieces when he kissed her and whispered something to her that made her smile.
Jax neared the crib and cooed at Abel as Stella talked to Gemma.
"I see you two are nice and cozy."Gemma smirked.
"Things got very cozy."Stella smirked back.
Gemma shook her head and pulled an envelope out of her purse. "This came for you at TM."
Stella nodded and kissed Gemmas cheek, stepping off to the side to open the envelope. She pulled out photos of her and Jax together, some of her by herself or with Bobby. They were all photos of them not even paying attention, and Stella knew exactly who they were from.
Stella kept her composture and turned to Jax,watching him with Abel. She wasn't sure if telling him was a good move, but knew that by not telling him, something was bound to come back and bite her in the ass. She saw how happy he was and decided that it was best to find a good moment or try to handle it herself.

The next day Stella watched Jax and Opie dig through Opie and Donna's garage. Stella threw her arm around Donna's shoulders and pulled her close."We need a girls night,it's been forever."Stella smirked at her best friend from childhood.
Donna shook her head and looked back at the two men struggling to pull the cot out the small garage. Stella was slightly distracted by a shirtless and sweaty Jax,pulled out of her trance by a giggle and playful shove from Donna.
"How much do I owe ya?"Jax asked after he deemed it usable.
"It's a gift."Opie huffed,quickly dismissing the topic.
Jax handed some bills to a hesitant Donna and wouldn't take them back. She stuffed them in her front pocket and smiled.
"See you guys at the fundraiser."Stella kissed Donna on the cheek and hugged Opie. Donna raised an inquisitive brow at the topic.
"It's not a club thing. We're supporting Gemma, and the community."Opie explained. He promised the couple that they'd all be there, and the two left right after.
Jax hopped up in the bed of Stella's truck and placed the cot there carefully. When he felt it was safe enough to not fall out,he hopped down and shut the bed of the truck. Stella pat his butt and smirked while walking towards the drivers side.
"What was that for?"He smirked.
"For being a tease."Stella replied and stuck her tongue out.
She drove them home, once there they placed everything in the nursery and Jax pulled Stella close.
"I can't wait to bring our son home."Jax smiled, kissing her.
"Our son?"She asked.
"Yes,our son."He replied.
