Ritual

I've awoken the next morning, finding myself spilling ransom notes from my mouth.  The room rested a lonely grey, and the sunlight hid behind the hands of the window.  My feet touched the velvet roses which covered my floor.  I avoided the mirror, who knew what lies it would have told me that morose morning.

I turned the knob, allowing the water to fall free from its prison.  My clothing was stripped from my body, and I had then untied my hair, allowing it to fall over my chest.  Eventually the warmth of the water reached the sensitivity of my skin.  And with that all problems seized.   I reached for the shampoo, and then did what anyone else would do with it.  As well as the conditioner and soap.

About fifteen minutes later, my relaxation has reached its end.  I stepped out of the shower and reached for my towel.  After I had dried off, I approached the mirror.  Avoiding it was next to impossible, especially on a day like so.  In the mirror, it showed a little girl.

The girl had long gold hair, and with the light kissing it.. the gold had really shown bright.   Her eyes sparkled an astounding emerald green, and her cheeks blushed a peculiar pink.    Her lips were a light skin color, about to be hidden by a red.

She was disgusting....

Just then I reached in the drawer and grabbed my makeup.   My face was a canvas, and it was my job to make it into a work of art.  I painted on the makeup, and then tied my hair up into a bun, allowing some curls to hang loose.

The mirror now shown a woman, hiding her insecurity...  for no one will love her if she's unattractive.

After I did my makeup, I went into the closet and grabbed my clothing.   You can probably guess what my attire was, just by judging my outlook amongst the world.
Therefore,  I was finally ready to run out into the world.  My swift movements bypassed Luke's blood, that still stained the floor.. and with that the door opened into a world of hate and ignorance.

Dearest Reader,
Wow, I'm actually surprised you're still reading *shifts nonexistent glasses* how could you read such garbage?   Anyways, I'm apologizing for this boring chapter.  My intentions were to just clarify how Hannah looked really, but in the next chapter you will see how she interacts with the world.
Love,
Colin
