Sam Winchester
I wasn't happy about Willow becoming a hunter. She could get hurt or turn evil or die. We've lost so many people already, but it was her choice.
Dean had elected me to teach Willow how to shoot. She was surprisingly picking it up really fast.
"Okay, Wil, just aim for the center of the target." I said. She was working with one of our old hunting rifles, and I just couldn't stop thinking about how proud her dad would be.
"Uh, okay." She said and brought up the gun to her face to aim. After a couple of seconds she shot suddenly, which made me jump a little. She laughed at my surprised face.
"Good, now reload by cocking the-" But she was a step ahead of me. She was recocked, and she brought the gun back up to her face. Another shot sounded.
"So, like, what will I be shooting? Scary looking vampires or Zombies or.." She left the end of her sentence hanging.
"There are hundreds of things to shoot." I didn't know how to properly explain it all, "And vampires aren't that scary looking, they just have weird teeth." I added.
She just shrugged and brought the gun up to her face. She shot one more time before I went to check the target.
"Jeez, Willow. You hit the center every time." I said. Not even I was that good on my first try.
"It's in my blood." Willow said, beaming proudly.
"Okay, so most monsters can die from a headshot or two, but a lot are immune, Wendigoes, for example, die by fire. Demons need a certain knife or an exorcism spell." There was so much to say in so little time.
"Do you have like a hunter guidebook?" She asked, before aiming to the target.
"Not really, but there are a lot of books on how to kill things like that. The best thing to do is read up." I said, but she gagged.
"I thought I was going to have a break from school." She sighed, shooting the rifle.
"Well, how about we see how you are with our demon knife. Its our quickest way to take care of demons which are our likely target in most cases." I said, handing Willow the enchanted knife. "I'm going to attack you, bring the knife to either my stomach, my neck, or my chest. Those are the easiest places to kill. Please don't actually stab me, I don't wanna deal with that again.."
"Again?" Willow said, but I didn't answer. I started throwing punches, which she easily dodged. I tried to grab her by her legs, but she had already brought the knife to my neck.
"Dead." She said simply. I couldn't help but smile.
"Good. You're training is done. For now." I said, and she was beaming again.
"GUYS! I FOUND SOMETHING!" Dean yelled from the cabin where we were staying. We quickly ran to the house.
"What is it?" Willow asked once we got inside.
"Your friend, does she look like this?" Dean asked and showed us a grainy picture of Willow's roommate on his computer.
"Yes?" Willow said, wanting to know the twist.
"Well, she just robbed a convenience store and shot the cashier." Dean said.
"Demon?" She asked. Smart girl.
"Most likely." I answered.
"Well, that's definitely not something she would do." Willow said. I could see the obvious shock on her face. It was all becoming real for her now, and I know from experience that it's hard.
a/n this chapter is in honor of my 100 reads! I'm having a little bit of writers block, but I think I know where I'm going to take this book. Love you all!!
