New school!!!!

Normal PoV

The train screeched slowly to a halt by a small station. You looked up from the game you were playing on your phone and realised it was your stop. You stood up, grabbed your backpack and left the train, thanking the conductor on the way out. Butterflies flapped their way around your stomach as you looked around at the new world (well, the train station). A drinks machine stood in the corner so you decided to get a drink. You stuck your hand in your pocket and fumbled around for a few quarters.
"That won't work," a voice said from behind you, making you jump.
The reflexes of someone used to getting into fights quickly kicked into action and you instantly spun around into a fighting stance.
"Woah, no need for that in my train station!" It said.
Once you had realised what it was you tensed even more. What could only be described as a fish person stood before you. It had yellow scales and fins but the body of a normal human.
"I am pufferfish Pete. Wololol,"
"Okay. Erm bye then," you said, confused as ever. With a nervous sigh you walked off and up the steps to the town.

You blinked slowly as you emerged into the cold morning sun, your eyes adjusting to the brighness. Across the road a big building stood amongst pretty grounds. It was your new school. A black watch adorned your wrist and you glanced down at it. School started in half an hour but you needed some supplies and money. Looking around you spotted a shop across the road.
'Perfect' you thought. The crossing was all the way down the street so, seeing no cars, you ran across. In the shop you bought some food and drink (Doritos and mtn dew) and exchanged your American money for yen. The creature behind the counter was also a fish person much to your dismay.

With another quick glance at your watch you realised that school was about to start so you hurried up to the front doors. You were really nervous and you were hoping people didn't find out that you were on witness protection. Clanging loudly, the bell rang just as you walked through the door to begin your first day at school...
