Predator: The hunt begins

Chapter: Fourteen

A piece of the cryogenic substance fell and reveiled a black exoskeleton like skin surface.

"Their the serpent kings." I say.

Another piece fell off, this time from the crown and I saw a bit of green mixed in with the black. I turn around to see the same happening to the others. I also see that the android has his back turned away from me. I turn around quickly and punch in the code for the device to explode. It then started to count down.

"NO!" I hear the android say them I hear a loud band. I close my eyes, waiting for it to come but it never does. I turn around to see a large black scythe tail sticking out of the androids chest. The tail brings it up and above my head and I look up to see that the kings face was free. I step back and watch as it opens its massive mouth, reveling another mouth inside the size of a serpent head and bite the android in half.

I look around and see that the other serpent kings are staring to break free. The one in front of me had lost enough of the cryogenic substance to rear back and roar a loud roar.

"They froze then to keep them alive." I said. "That's why they looked so real."

The lighting finally came to a stop and the kings started to break free.

Next, the floor began to rise.

We all feel to the floor as it started to rise. The kings seemed unfazed by it, and continued to break free. They also began losing their chains. I looked up and saw a light as we headed twoards it. I had to cover my eyes at the brightness. I hear loud screams, roars and hisses come around me. My eyes soon adjusted and I found myself in the arena again, but this time the arena was much larger than before, enough to stick, well, 50 serpent kings in here. The curved spikes were up again,around the walls and door way, preventing any escape. I looked to the arenas stands and saw that they were filled with serpents.

They were everywhere. On the walls, on the ceiling, they even crawled over one another.

It seems as tho the hunter has become the hunted.

Instincts kick in and I get in the center in a battle stance with my smart-disk out. I feel something on my back and turn to see myself back to back with Tusk and Void. Then humans got the same idea and got back to back, forming a triangle, with Red hair in the middle.

"Seems tho that the tables have turned my friends." I say, aiming my smart-disk at the serpent King who was standing over the coffin.

"I knew this was going to be one hell of a hunt, but I think this is over kill." Tusk said, pulling out his spear and aiming it at the serpent king on the left.

"The hunt is still not over." Void says, aiming his Shruiken at the serpent king on the right. "And we are hunters, remember that, remember your training."

"Their just like any other serpent." I say.

"Just bigger, scarier, and tougher." Tusk says. The serpent king in front of me that was standing in front of the coffin, picked up the coffin with one had and threw it at the wall. The device was undamaged thankfully and countined the countdown. The king roared up and all three serpent Kings came charging at us.

We all three rolled to the side at the same time and I heard the sound of all three serpent Kings ram their heads into one another. They hissed roared at eachother and clawed one another before turning there attention back to each us.

I looked past the serpent King I was facing and saw the crushed bodys of the other two human guards.

Must have been crushed by the serpent king head impact.
