What if you were told that there was a way to see other people's destinys? If you could watch as if through a pool of water how someone's life will turn out? What if this pool didn't just show a person's destiny in that one life, but instead showed their destiny for all incarnations of their life? Of course, such knowledge is impossible for a mortal mind to process and the pure amount of the information gained from trying to peer into the pool would kill you, almost instantly in fact.

But there was one, foolish enough to not only search for such a pool of incredible knowledge and clever enough to actually find it, but also foolish enough to peer into its deep black depths and speak a name. Of course speaking the name wasn't necessary, in fact the man was dead long before he ever spoke the first name of the person whose destiny he was so curious about. But don't mourn him, his life was probably already doomed. Why? The tenacity one must have to find such a wonder would indeed place an individual into some lifespan shortening situations. So, the man died, before even voicing a single word... However with an incredible pool such as this one, you need not utter a single syllable to see what it is you seek. In fact by the time the young man had entered into a peaceful eternal sleep, he'd seen more than a dozen lifetimes flash before his eyes. A dozen lifetimes of a particular woman. Although souls can be resurrected as either male or female, the pool showed only the woman incarnates. The reason for this was because the female incarnates all had a peculiar aspect to them. Each and every one of them had either lived a harsh life or died a young tragic death. The chapters that follow are in truth a few of the tragic lives the man saw.
