Chapter 17

It was Sunday afternoon and Caleb and Hanna were building the crib in Hanna's bedroom.
Hanna started to laugh.
Caleb: why are you laughing?
Hanna: I just have never seen myself sharing a room with a little baby.
Caleb: I've never seen myself sharing a room with two babies either.
Hanna hit him.
Caleb: haha sorry. Your my baby tho.
Hanna grinned.
Caleb: shit I think I forgot some of those animal light things downstairs be right back.
Hanna just looked inside the crib and patted her belly.
Hanna's Mom walked inside.
Hanna's Mom: I remember looking at your crib like that.
Hanna smiled.
Hanna's Mom: you wanna know something?
Hanna: sure.
Hanna's Mom: Caleb reminds me of your farther.
Hanna: what?
Hanna's Mom: your farther was so happy to help me out when you were first born haha.
Hanna: haha yeah I'm glad to have Caleb here helping me.
Hanna's Mom: your farther just had to leave us for something better. I don't blame him I mean for a long time I stopped trying to look nice for him and I started gaining weight.
Hanna: I'm so sorry mom.
Her mom slowly walked out.
Hanna couldn't help but feel upset about what she had said about her so called sorry ass dad.
Hanna Was afraid it would happen to her with Caleb.
What if Caleb found someone better she thought?
What if it happened to her?
Hanna: no I'm keeping my man.
Hanna rushed to the bathroom.
She started pampering herself with makeup and lipstick and she even changed out of sweats into skin tight jeans.
Hanna: Caleb!
Caleb: yes
Hanna: is it okay with you if I joined the gym?!
Caleb: but your thin enough baby.
Hanna grabbed him.
Hanna: I'm gonna gain weight because the baby I need to do everything I can to help me stay fit and when the baby comes take the weight off.
Caleb: do what you need to do baby!
He kissed her cheek!
Hanna smiled.
Maybe her and Caleb would be okay after all.
