The Devil On My Shoulder

chapter 9:

*Alex's POV*
We were stationed all around a

building James and I agreed where

our 'meeting place' would be. "Get

into your hiding spots!" I told my

soldiers. "He'll be here any minute."

The building we agreed upon was a

small building on the outskirts of a

small town in Georgia. I have no idea

why Georgia, but what the hell. It was
dark; at the stroke of midnight , I

heard a rustle in the trees. "Alex, are

you there?" I heard James whisper.

"Yeah, I'm over here." I called back to

him. He came close and wrapped his

arms around me in a hug. He laid his

head on my shoulder and I whispered

to him, "I just want you to know that I
love you no matter what." "Ok." James

lifted his head up and kissed me

swiftly on the lips so no one saw. He

stood back and pushed me. "Where

have you been?" He yelled. We meet

once and you don't bother to find

again? Its been 3 days!" "Sorry, you

just aren't my type." I said. "Not your

type? Not your type? ?" James then

proceeded to smack in the face. We

started fighting. Fists flying and

everything. James managed to get me

on the ground and start punching me.

I freed my arm and landed a good one

on his jaw. The sound bounced in the

empty night. He grabbed me and

threw me through the door of the

building. I coughed a couple times

from the dust and let him run at me.

We both swung at the same time. The

fight only lasted a couple of minutes.

Then, I heard my men come out of

hiding and start to enter the building.

I smiled at James.

*Author POV*

When the men entered the front

room, no one was there. All of them

were suprised that the two supposed

lovers had fought like that, but it must

have not been really love. They were

amazed at the angels fighting skill. He

fought like a demon.They searched

the whole building and came out. The

captain of the team went out to find

Satan. He had news to tell him. When

he got to Satan's office he knocked on

the the door and entered. "Report on

the misson." He said in a rough voice.

Satan turned around and looked at

the captain standing behind his desk.

"Where is Alex?" He asked. "Well,

ummm...both Alex and the angel's

bodies were found in the building."

"What do you mean?" "They were

found dead."

I just want to know what you guys think will happen next and what happened to Alex and James. I hope you like this chapter although it's not my best :) sorry. I will try to update soon but I have finals next week but a 3 day weekend after that, so I should post then if not sooner.
