Hello my tomatoes :)) yes.  I’m still here.  An apology for late update, my phone is not in good condition so I have to wait for days.  But here I am again!  Another chapter!  Enjoy reading :D

"Okay snowbirds, that's enough. You're going to freeze in there"

I heard someone speak behind me. I slowly pull away myself from the tight embrace of Thomas as I turn my head to look at the source of the voice. And to my surprise I see my best friend and the girl with Thomas at the jewelry shop smiling sheepishly to us. I expect myself to rage in anger as I see her but instead I remain calm and steady as I try to look at her closely.

Beautiful
She looks familiar. She has the same features with somebody. I squint my eyes as I study her face again. I know it’s getting weird already since Thomas and YBF/N have the same ear to ear grin. Then I look at Thomas and he's smiling at me.

Beautiful? Definitely. I smile at the thought then next second, realization hit me.
Oh my. Why just now?
I look at her again then to Thomas then back to her then to Thomas.
Heck, they look the same, like twins, surely they share the same genes.
Oh gosh. I thought she's Thomas' girl. Even worse, I thought they are getting married. I can feel my face burning even its freezing already as I remember how I overreacted a while ago.
Oh earth please open up. This is such an embarrassment.
Then Thomas pull my hair up and put his scarf around my neck.
"Tomato" he whispered and he smiled.
I glare at him and his smile even gets bigger.

"Is she..."
Is she..."
I didn’t finish my question because I know he already knows what I mean.
I look at Thomas and the girl and they exchange smiles. Then Thomas nods at her.
Then she comes closer to me and extend a hand.
"Hi, Y/N, I'm Ava. Thomas' sister. Ava Sangster" she said with a genuine smile in her face.
I have to admit that I'm kind of flattered that she knows my name, so I return the smile and shake her hand.

"It's nice meeting you Ava. I'm sorry.... I didn't recognize you a while ago" I said sounding nervous.

"It's okay, it's all worth it" she said then turn to her brother and winks. Thomas just look at the ground as his face turns red.

I don't know what that is for and I didn't insist to know. The snow continues to fall and the winter wind becomes stronger. I suddenly hug my body as I feel cold. Then Thomas approaches me and protectively put his arms around my shoulders keeping me warm and speak to all of us.

"I think we better keep going" He said.

"Tom, you left your car back into the jewelry shop remember?" Ava replied.

Thomas hand fly straight into his face and I heard him utter "Bloody hell" under his breathe. I can't help but smile. Then he said.
"Wait here, I'm just going to get my car"

We all nod and he squeeze my shoulders and trailed off.

The moment Thomas leaves it becomes awkward. Ava just stand there beside me and keeps her eyes busy with looking around. I on the other hand touch the cold surface of the ring in my necklace. Then suddenly, a phone rings, YBF/N's phone.

"I'm just going to answer this. I'll be right back in a moment" She said. Ava and I smiled to her and she walk away.

Now it is just me and Ava, Great.

I didn't notice that I'm still holding the ring until Ava speaks.

"Do you like it?" She asks. I turn to her, a little bit intimidated. Thousands of things keep running in my mind about her. What if she'll say that I should go away from Thomas? What if she'll tell me that someone deserves his brother more than I do? What if--

"Hey, I think Thomas really like you. And so do I" I look at her and the doubts in my mind started to fade. She's smiling at me like we are friends from before. I know it’s weird but I think she's really telling the truth.
