It all began with a girl, a juke joint and two lustful men. The swift turns of the people in the juke joint dancing, the heavy hue of blue and the hint of liquor tasted by many. They stood in their black & white suits watching her.
White: You see that girl over there?
Black: There are many of girls in here. Which one?
White: That one right there.. That pretty green dress just hugging her hips.
Black: What about her?
White: I'll bet you ten on the spot I'll dance with her.
Black: Please.. Easy steal. I could have her on that table with me in five.
White: Five minutes..
Black: Not minutes.. Seconds..
The man in white laughed.
White: Reguardless, that's not what I mean.. I said I want to dance with her.
His eyebrows danced as he emphasised his words a bit more.
Black: I'll get her before you.
White: Ten, shake.
Black: Done.
They shook hands and went in for the kill. The man in white disappeared as the man in black began to approach her.
Black: Good evening my emerald beauty.
Green: Black night..
Black: Pardon me, but I was just admiring you from afar and would like to admire you up close.
Green: Listen, I don't know who you think you are, but-..
She paused once she caught his gaze. He was smiling down at her and the trance she was in was mesmerizing.
Black: Shall we partake in a dance together or wait on your answer to be finished?
He said, offering her his hand.
Green: I presume that you would want more than just a dance if I take your hand?
He was about to answer, but the door swung open and there stood the man in white. The smile he gave off put everyone to shock and as he stood there, he began to reach into his pocket. The old gun trick.. Well played.. Thought the man in black. Both of then we're smiling, leaving the woman in green confused. The convoluting silence was all there was until the man in white flicked his wrist and watched everyone as their heads followed the soaring object which landed into the slot of the jukebox. But the other two stares that stayed were the eyes of the men in white & black..
The music began a dance of fever between the men and women attending. The man in white went to the bar ordering hard liquor on the rocks, paying no mind to the woman who was his goal by the end of the night.Green: What's he doing here?
Black: My friend is quite a show-off when it comes to places like this and when he has on a good, clean suit.
Green: His suit must be extra clean from the birches, up.
This earned a light chuckle from the man in black.
Green: Tell me.. Is this man your brother? You look just like him.
Black: No. He looks like me.. And it is by coincidence that we are identical.
Green: Then it is a good thing you wear black and he wears white.
Black: Yes.. But watch out for him though. He's quite the player. Last night, he had two women on each side of him on his way home. Wouldn't be surprised if he had any unknown concubines running about the street.
