Recap:

Sang, get a hold of yourself! You need to get out of here.

The man had gotten far too close for comfort while I was in my own world. He reached out towards me with a calm smile on his face and I took a quick step back. His smile faltered, but he was quick to put one right back on.

"I won't hurt you, it's going to be alright."

Although his deep voice was calm, I couldn't take the chance of being put back into that room. I took another step back, as he took one towards me, shook my head at him. I did the only rational thing, I ran.

My heart pounded in my chest as I sprinted through the halls. My breathes came out in gasps while my lungs started to hurt from running for so long.

I tried to focus on escaping this place, but silently cursed and slowed my pace to a slow jog. I turned so many times, going down different hallways, that I had gotten myself lost.

Great job Sang.

As I slowed my pace even more to a walk and I tried to find a sign that could direct me some place. I leaned my hand against the wall as I tried to catch my breath. I looked up at the ceiling and silently hoped for fate to just give me a small break.

"Miss!"

An accented deep voice farther down the hall called out to me.

I whipped my head around so fast towards the owner of the voice that i'm surprised I didn't get whiplash. A broad shouldered man jogged towards me, he was quite tall and had deep black hair and an olive skin tone from what I could see in the poorly lit hallway. Fear grabbed me and held on as he kept getting closer.

I quickly turned on my heel, my legs finally working, and bolted down a random hallway, hoping it led me to an exit. I could hear the male behind me curse and talk to someone, most likely others trying to get me, before I heard heavy footsteps chase after mine.

The hallway I chose to go down was crowded with nurses, which I "gracefully" ran into and almost knocked over a few. I yelled back a few quick apologies, but didn't stop running. The giant chasing me though had tripped over a fallen nurse and I would have laughed, if it wasn't for the fact that he had gotten back up quickly.

I pushed myself to go faster when I heard his thudding footsteps get closer to me. I was about to turn and look at him, but I was distracted by the throng of people near two glass doors that had a sign above it that read EXIT in big red lettering. I sighed in relief and tried to go faster, ready to finally get out of here.

What I didn't expect was another large male to pop up a few feet in front of me. This one with dark hair like the one chasing me, but with all black clothing on. I quickly changed directions to avoid running into the very intimidating male, but failed as he gripped the back of my borrowed shirt at the last second. Making my legs fly out from under me and I fell onto my back with a groan, a spike of pain shooting up from my stomach. I rolled into my side and coughed trying to get some more air into my lungs.

"Jesus North, you didn't have to hurt her."

The sound of an out of breathe deep voice helped push away most of the pain and I quickly scrambled away from the two huge males. I didn't stop scrambling away until my back hit the corner of the room.

The two intimidating figures shared a look before the one I referred to as the giant started to come towards me, acting like I was some scared wild animal. Although to them I probably looked like it. As he continued to edge towards me, I tried to push myself farther into the corner while also hugging my knees to my chest and barred my teeth in warning.

He stopped and blinked in surprise and backed away slowly again, he and the one he called North started talking in hushed tones, although keeping one eye on me to make sure I didn't run again probably. The giant pulled out a cell phone and held it against his ear while quickly whisper talking to the person on the other side of the phone call.

After a few more terrifying minutes that seemed to stretch on forever, he hung up and whispered something to 'North'.

North's gaze flickered over to me before saying, well more like growling, back an answer. The giant was going to reply, but something farther down the hall I had come from caught their attention.

I tried to move my body into a more comfortable position, but quickly held in a yelp as a sharp pain stabbed me in the side. I remembered the gash Caleb had given me and rushed to put my hand over it, sucking in a quick breathe as my hand found my shirt was wet with blood yet again. I kept my hand on the cut and applied pressure while my other hand kept my knees to my chest.

I jumped in surprise as a soft flirtatious voice sounded almost directly in front of me.

"Hi Cutie."
