*Ellies pov*
     After I left the living room I texted Carter.
Ellie- hey Carter I'm sorry about my dad. He's protective. Can I stay at your house tonight I don't want to see him right now?

Carter- yeah come on.

Ellie - on my way

I packed really fast and walked down the stairs"Dad I'm going to allys ill be back tomorrow." I yelled. As I got in my car and drove away. I arrived to carters house and knocked on the door. He answered and lead me to the couch. I saw Netflix was paused on the very beginning of a movie. Carter made popcorn and started the movie. I felt something wet on my neck, and a hand on my thighs.I looked at Carter and pushed him off. "What are you doing?" He only smirked. "Doing what you want. Relax and have fun. You're going to have the time of your life." He got on top of me and took off my shirt. I wiggled but he was much stronger and really heavy. He grabbed my wrists and squeezed. I decided to pretend to like it. Once I started acting he loosened his grip on my wrists they still sting. I kneed him, then ran. I hopped in my car and drove to the only other place I could thinks of. Grayson house.

*Justin's pov*
      I am worried sick about Ellie. She went to allys house and that isn't the safest environment for her to be in. A car pulled into my drive way which was allys. Thank the Lord they are okay. But why are they here? I walked out the front door and down the side walk. I saw ally get out of the car crying. She ran to me and hugged me. "Daddy!" ally cried into my chest. I held her as tight as I could, trying to comfort her. "Shh what happened? Where's Ellie?" Ally shook her head. "Ellie told me that she was at Carter's I haven't seen her today. " she managed to get out in between sobs. I picked up ally with her legs around my waist and her head in my neck. "He was so mean to me." I rubbed her back while I walked to my room. I sat on my bed with her on my chest. Isaac showed up in the door frame looking worried. I got my phone with my arms around ally still, I texted Isaac.

"Its her dad again. Call Ellie tell her to come home, she is with Carter."

He walked off looking pissed. I put my full attention back on ally. I rocked her while she calmed down enough to tell me what had happened. Apparently her dad got drunk tonight and it was really bad. Instead of verbally abusing her he physically abused her. She started to cry more after the part where he was kicking her stomach. I let her fall asleep, then I went to find Isaac and Ellie. Isaac was sitting in the kitchen with his head in his hands. "Is she on her way home." I asked. "No she won't answer. God dammit"

*Ellies pov*
     I knocked on Graysons front door and he opened in his pajamas and a v neck. I stood in the door way crying. He looked really concerned, as he took me into his arms and closed the door. He rubbed my back while leading me to the couch. Grayson set me on his lap while cradling me. I am so comfy with grayson, unlike Carter. I told Grayson what happened. He listened to all of it through what I wore when I went to open the door for Carter to when I rang graysons door bell. He didn't care that it took an hour or that I look terrible, he just cared about me. I don't know when but I fell asleep to the sound of my phone ringing.

*Graysons pov*
     My poor Ellie. She is so hurt, I really want to kill Carter right now. Ellie fell asleep as her phone was ringing, the caller ID said that it was Isaac. I knew that he was her brother basically. I didn't know the story but I knew that he was probably worried sick. I answered the phone and heard a bunch of screaming from Isaac. "Hello, this is Grayson. Ellie came to my house crying she fell asleep at my place. I can drive her home now or in the morning." The screaming stopped right when they realized that I wasn't Ellie. The phone went to another person I assume her dad. "Can you please bring her home now. You can spend the night I don't want you driving when it's dark" he then hung up. Well I guess I am spending the night at Ellies house. I got all my stuff in the car then I got Ellie. I picked her up in my arms and carried her to my car. She is so light and short. She's adorable. I drove to Ellies house and got my stuff and Ellie with her legs wrapped around my waist. It pained me to see her cry even just her tear stained face hurts. I whipped her tears but it was still super obvious that she had been crying. Two guys ran out of the house. They introduced themselves as Justin and Isaac. Justin took my stuff from me and Isaac checked on Ellie. They led me into the house and up the stairs. We went into Ellies room and I set her down and put the covers on top of her. Isaac rushed over to her and took off the shirt so she was in her tank top, he flipped her on her stomach then gave her a stuffed dog. I stood there in awe as I realized the relationship that she has with her family. Justin lead me out of the room and into the kitchen. He gave me some coffee, then asked me some questions.

She came over crying because of that jerk Carter. She told me about the date and Netflix and chill. Apparently she went over to his house and he tried to force her but she got away before it happened. Then she came to my house then I talked to you and now here we are.

He tried to force her?

We walked up the stairs to her room. He followed silently as I lead the way. I walked into her room and turned on a lamp trying not to wake up Ellie. I moved the blankets down a bit to show her wrists and how they had hand prints on them already. Justin stormed out leaving me alone with her. I looked a t her face then moved the blankets back where they were. I kissed her temple and started to walk out. I bumped into a body, Isaac. "Dont you dare ever hurt her" he threatened. He walked past me and turned off the lamp. "I'm not like Carter I actually give a shit about Ellies feelings."he nodded. He walked out the door when he said, "if I were you I would stop cursing she hates those words." I smiled and walked out. From now on I will not curse. For Ellie.
