Chapter 6

Riley's POV

"Lucas kissed me on the cheek"I said excitedly which for one I wasn't and this is just a plan to see if Maya likes Lucas

Of course I already know because I get maya vibes but Lucas doesn't trust those vibes so we came up with a plan

"Riley I'm so happy for you"she said excitedly

Wow either she's a really good actress or she is really happy for me oh well I'm just gonna say she's a good actress

"Yea and tonight he's taking me to Topanga's so I have to get ready bye peaches"I say practically yelling

"Bye riles" she says and with that I hang up

I got ready and I had to look presentable because I knew maya would be spying from a plant or something

Maya's POV 3 hours later

I grabbed my tree hat and went to Topanga's

You must be wondering what I'm doing well I'm going to spy on Riley's date well because it's her first one I mean I can't miss my friends first date

Well I'm here and Riley and Lucas should be arriving any minute then I see them

37 minutes later

I think their dates almost done I mean they've been talking forever. They start to lean in very slowly so I take my phone out and wait. Finally their lips touch I had a weird feeling in my stomach but I ignored it and to the picture

Unfortunately for me the flash was on so they stopped and looked toward my direction so I got up and ran. I wasn't sure if they saw me but I could stop now.

I ran right to my apartment and into my room and looked to see if they followed. I didn't see them which was good so I just sat on my bed and thought.

Lucas' POV

After Riley and I kissed there was a flash we knew it was Maya but we still needed to break we looked in her direction and I saw her run

" Should we follow her?" I asked

"No she'll just get mad at you because you left me" Riley said

"Do you think she has feelings for me?" I questioned

"Right now I'm not sure but she might have a bit of feelings but I don't think that's enough for her to say yes even if you explained that this was only a set up." She said

"Your probably right"I say a bit disappointed

Then there was just silence it wasn't very awkward but it still felt a bit weird the Riley finally spoke

"Lucas?" She said

"Yea"

"Would you like to go on a date with me." I was quite confused but she continued" like a real date I know you like Maya but when we kissed I felt something and I know you felt something too."

Everything was spinning in my mind I mean she's right I did feel something when we kissed but I still like Maya and I would be willing to wait but I can't turn down Riley because I want to wait for her best friend

"Ok Riley one date but I'm just letting you know now it doesn't guarantee a second one"I say jokingly

"Of course I wouldn't expect anything more" she says in royalty voice

"So where r u taking me" I asked

"Where am I taking you?"she said confused

"Yeah well you asked me on the date"I said like it was obvious

"Oh right um....."

"I'm only joking Riley" I say bursting into laughter

"Wait I got a place"she said

"Ok where is it?"I asked eagerly

"You'll find out when we go on our date, meet me here next week on Friday at 5:00pm, ok?"

"Wow you're making me wait that long." I say "ok"I then say

We talk a bit more and the we decide to leave because it's getting late. We're standing at her front apartment door when we start to lean in and I start to thing this is the most cliché thing ever but it's a moment so I go with it right we are about to touch she turns her face and I kiss her cheek

"Wow you gave me the cheek"I say sounding offended

"I just want you to wait a bit longer" she teased

The she went into her apartment and I went home

Hey guys hoped you enjoy and again sorry for not updating last week and this is the worst way to repay you. You guys probably hate this chapter but don't worry in the end it's Lucaya
