Avery always knew she had an eating problem but it never got this bad. She always put things off until tomorrow or the day after. Many people call that procrastinating. At least I do anyway. As Avery got older her eating decreased to a low minimum. This eating disorder is called anorexia. It got really bad ever since I died. My sister used to tell me everything from homework to guys to recent problems she has been having. We were really close and we never fought with each other. Life was great. I remember holding her in my arms for the very first time. She had baby blue eyes and the cutest cheeks. Anyway… ever since she was 6 years old.. her symptoms of anorexia started. She didn’t eat normally and she became the skinniest girl in her grade at a rapid pace. She is coping with it pretty well but no one knows about this condition. Avery told our parents, but she didn’t want to go to a hospital. She kept putting it off until one day she simply collapsed. That day I remember very clearly. Avery was 14 and I was 16… 1 year before I died. Anyway, we were watching spongebob for whatever reason and she was getting the popcorn when she just collapsed. We took her to the emergency room and they said that she needs to eat more and that she needs more protein and vitamins in her body. They asked us some questions about her eating habits and we told her that she doesn’t eat a lot. They diagnosed her as anorexic. Once she woke up.. and we told her the name of her condition, she panicked. I never saw fear in my sister’s eyes before. After her diagnoses, all of her symptoms made sense. We forced her to eat at least something. After about a year… I died and everyone in my family was devastated. A drunk driver head butted me with his car when I was in mine. It was not a good experience… She headed down hill ever since. I have been in heaven for 2 years already and Avery is already losing the weight she put on while my family pushed her to eat. Lately ever since I was gone, my family has been out of order. Everyone doesn’t keep in touch anymore or they barely even talk. Now Avery is an only child with no one to tell her secrets or problems to. No one but the person who has been by her side since day one. She doesn’t pray-tell me about her problems. I just can hear what she says a lot. She just gets insecure a lot and she likes my best friend. Justin Cloud Caylen. Everybody calls him Jc.
