The sun burns into her back as she dances carelessly behind the wall. Music fills her ears in a melody of bliss.

This is her escape.

The sunset dissipates, until its only darkness.

She smiles to herself, a sad smile.

Why can't life be this way?

Why can't life be care-free.

Why is the only word that can be spoke from her pink lips.

Why can't she be happy.

Mocking laughs surround His body, His brain a clouded mess.

Comments flow like a river.

He blocks the mockery out.

The pain.

His head is pushed up against the wall, blood cascades from his broken nose.

A whimper follows.

Laughs surround him, and Anxiety builds up.

His knees buckle. And they hit the cold, hard floor.

A familiar pane shoots through him.

The pain of existence.
