Okay... Today has just started and it has already become weird. I was walking to school as usual and I saw a boy staring at me in a strange way, I thought that he must be new as I had never seen him before. I stared back at him and after a few moments he looked away.
I thought nothing of that strange encounter until registration when my form tutor, Miss Jenks called me up and said that a new boy was arriving in our class and that I was going to be his buddie, instantly I thought that it could be that boy i saw on the street walking. I asked what his name was and she said " Daniel Howell." Just as my tutor said that the new boy walked through the door slightly out of breath, he walked up to my tutor and apologise for being late and he asked " who is Philip Lester?" Miss Jenks calmly said "Thank you for apologising and this boy standing next to you is Philip Lester" I looked up and saw the boy that was looking at me from across the street, I saw the look of recognition and shock on his face, I smiled and explained " Hi, I'm Philip Lester but everyone calls me Phil. Dan replied "Hi, I'm Dan and as you can see I'm new here." Miss Jenks interrupted us and told us where to sit for the new school year.
As me and Dan sat down Miss Jenks began the register, I whispered to Dan " Just stay with me for the day and you won't get lost" Miss suddenly shouted my name, I jumped and quickly said "yes Miss" Dan giggled a bit.
The bell went and we all piled out of the classroom. I lead Dan out and showed him to our first class, Science.
