Roughhousing (chapter 1)

~Dawns P.O.V~

As I walked into the house a bright stream of light hit my eyes as I looked around the beautifully decorated home. Darcy's mom is an interior designer, no wonder their house is so beautiful.

Darcy's dad works at our city's mall, we always get discounts and lots of crazy things from all his connections.

I started walking up the stairs to Darcy's room. As we walked in her almost completely white bedroom with splashes of black or grey here and there. I hopped onto her plush bed sheets and was instantly hit in the head with a pillow. "What was that for" I said just as I started reaching my hand for another pillow.

"Nothing, it's just fun hitting you with things." Darcy said laughing Hysterically.

"Well, you shouldn't mind if I hit you back!" I yelled just as I reached the pillow. Before she could even react she was on the floor laughing even harder.

I get up, offer her a hand to get off the floor, and head over to my bags. I look for my phone and seem to not be able to find it. I look over and find Darcy trying to unlock it.

"I don't even know how to open this thing up!" She yelled angry.

"And that's what you get for only having smart phones." I check my messages and find a text from my mom. It read, honey. I'm sorry but your phones going to get Disconnected tomorrow. Love you, bye.

What?!? Why wouldn't they tell me this sooner?

"I know it seems sad that it's getting g disconnected but my parents are planning on buying you an iPhone." Darcy said Sympathetically.

"Really?" I said with rising hopes

"Yeah! Totally. I heard them talking about it earlier with Each other and with your parents."

"Yes!" I said happily. This would be the first time I get a smartphone ever! My train of thoughts gets interrupted by Darcy's mom and dad calling us downstairs.
