KATHERINES POV
Dillon's mom called and invited us to dinner?
Why?
I'm tired of this.. I don't want to be around people like him
"Mom can I please stay home", I ask her at the cash register
"No, she asked us nicely, and since there's no one here were closing up", she says throwing me a rag..
After about 30 minutes we make it home..
She asked me to Wear something nice
Uh no, I'm wearing what I wore to school today

We eventually arrive at Dillion's house..
Why would I be at his house?
How are my mom and his mom friends?
My mom knocks on the door
"Knock,knock,knock"
"Hi, meg, come in you too.. I'm not exactly done but you can help if you like", she said showing us to the kitchen..
It was huge, a house this huge? No wonder Dillion is so popular..
I go exploring the house, because I felt like it was begging me to..
Dillion was on the couch in the living room playing video games..
I'm good at video games..
I sit on opposite side of the couch that he's on
Dillion takes out a head phone
"What do you want", he asks me as I just sit there, making my self comfortable
"Nothing, I'm just watching "? I said looking at the screen
"You know you didn't have to show up to this dinner", he says dropping the remote looking at me
"My mom made me", I said sitting there shyly
He just sits there quietly
"I know you don't want me here, bc if we were seen together your friends would make fun of you", I said kinda loud as I start to get up
"well maybe I should go", I said about to head to the kitchen
"Wait", he said loudly causing me to stop
I turn around to face him , letting him know he has my attention
"Look, maybe you can stay, we can be friends without anyone knowing, and it would make my mom happy",he says looking at me as I walk toward him
"Only if your not like the jerk you are at school", I said sitting beside him

DILLIONS POV
I needed to make friends with her, especially for my mom..
Being friends out of school won't hurt?
We've been sitting there in silence for the past 5 minutes,.
"So are you going to talk or", I ask her as I turn my head to see what She's doing
"Yea, so I have a question", she asks as looking at her finger nails not making eye contact
She's acting weird
"I have a girlfriend", I said hoping she's not bringing up that she likes me
"Okay I know that? And I would never wanna go out with you?, but anyways.. why do you act that way at school", she asks me Turning her body around to face me
"Well people look up to me, so if they think something is funny and they point it out they expect me to go along with it so I do, even if it hurts people's feelings, like you.. People talk about you bc your in a nerdy group, but you're gorgeous, more gorgeous than any of those girls that are in my group.. But it's just your in a nerdy group", I said to her straight up
She just sits there quietly
"You don't talk a lot", I tell her as she turn her head to look at me
"Ik I just feel like I'm being judged", she says shyly
Why is she so quiet?
"Don't worry it's just me, and I feel like I'm the one being judged, with you all smart in stuff", I said with a giggle trying to make things not so awkward
But it is, I don't want her to think she can talk to me at school now?

We've been talking for a whole hour, she's very mysterious, she tells me about her life and what she likes to do?
I told her personal problems and also things about my self that I've never told anyone..
But my mom interrupts our conversation
"Foods done", she says causing me to jump
Which I should be used to by now.
I get up and turn to Katherine
"Follow me", I said to her grabbing her arm showing her the way to the kitchen , bc I don't think she knows the way
We get in the kitchen
It was my dad, my mom, my younger sister and her mom at the table
I sit down at the table as Katherine follows
"So you two go to the same school", my dad asks as I look at him funny
"Yes, but we don't hang out", Katherine says shocking me that she would reply
My dad looks at me..
My mom try's to change the subject before I can say anything
"Dillion will you watch Haley tomorrow, me and your father are going on a trip", she asks giving me a smile
"Uh sorry I'm going to a party",I said looking at them faking a sad look
"I could watch her, I never have anything better to do", Katherine says as my dad starts to smile
"Thank you, your very kind", my mother says to her
I already feel like she's doing me favor
"What time", Katherine asks shyly with a cute look on her face..
Did I just really say cute?
"10 in the morning ", my dad says smiling at her
"I'll be right on time", she replies..

LATER THAT NIGHT!!
after everyone was finished with food my mom made me show Katherine around the house
"So where's your hide out", she asks me as we head up the stairs
"Hide out?", I ask questionably
"Yea, like a place were you can get away from everything", she asks as I suddenly remember a place..
I grab her hand and we make our way to my room, I shut the door and head to the two large doors leading outside ..
It was a patio
"Wow this is beautiful", she says as I start to climb up the bars around it
I make it on top of the roof
"What are you doing up there?", she says loudly with her arms wrapped together
Like she's cold or something
"Come on, I'll help you up", I said as she starts to climb
"This isn't safe", she says shaking as I pull her up
"Wow, your freezing", I said taking off my jacket trying to be nice, im used to this weather
"I know, I didn't  think it to be this cold", she says looking at me as I let my eyes off her
"Uh here, I'm used to the weather", i said passing it to her and I lay back on the roof
"Thanks", she says putting it on as she slowly started to lay back on the roof
"Now this is even more beautiful, you can just lay up here and everything disappears out of your head", she says in a sweet tone
"How can you just randomly pop in my life", I ask her in a giggle
"What do you mean, our moms just happened to be friend, it was an accident", she says turning her head to face mine
" well we were accidentally partners in 3rd period, and our parents never actually hung out until today, and they've never mentioned each other, how weird is that", I said as her head turns back over
"It is kinda weird, who would of thought that nerd girl and popular guy would be having a conversation", she says with a giggle
"Ik and we can't talk at school, and don't mention this to your friend", I said with a serious voice
"Why are you embarrassed of me", she says turning to face me again with those sad looking eyes
"Just my friends, there mean, and I don't want to hurt your feelings", I said not really wanting to be mean to her
She gets up and heads to the rail to get down
"Wait I can help you", I said as she just jumps down with no worries
I jump down quickly behind her
"Wait", I said grabbing her arm causing her to stop
"Was it something I said ", I ask wondering what I've done..
We've actually got to know each other, in like 3 hours
She's a very nice person, and her personality is amazing?
"You don't have to hurt my feelings if you don't want to , nobody forces you to do anything", she says looking at me with a sad look
She's very sensitive
I just stand there silently
"See I thought I actually had a friend that gets me", she says pulling her arm away
I do get her , she's amazing and very different
But she's still a nerd? Nerds and populars don't hang out

So I just let her go
