Trixie was shocked at Kari's boldness, but she smiled after a few minutes. "If that's what you want." She tells Kari. Kari smiled.
"Thank you, Trixie." Kari tells Trixie. They were already in Vermilion City, so they took a break. Blaze had evolved into Charizard, and Kari thought he was cool. Trixie giggled at Kari gushing over Blaze. Like Trixie, Blaze was protective of Kari, if not a bit overprotective.
A few hours later...
Kari saw an every tall and menacing figure towering over Trixie. She only sighed. The figure touched Trixie's shoulder and Trixie groaned. "Ugh, Lt. Surge!" Trixie shouted. Said man fell back.
"Oh, uh, Trixie. I didn't know that was you. Are you on a date with this lovely young girl?" Lt. Surge asked, referring to Kari. Kari only grinned at Lt. Surge's foolishness.
Trixie blushed and she tugged on Lt. Surge's ear. "Damn you, Surge!" Trixie shouted at the Gym Leader. Kari could only blush in embarrassment that she felt for Trixie.
"I'm sorry!" Lt. Surge tells Trixie. Trixie growled in anger.
"I should kill you!" The Imperator's voice says, kicking Lt. Surge. He flinched.
"I didn't tell them willingly." He tried to reason with the Imperator, but she wasn't having it.
"Shut up, you imbecile." Imperator says, softly. Lt. Surge obeyed. "What exactly did you tell them?" She asked.
"That you located in Pewter City." Lt. Surge told Imperator.
"Um, Trixie." Kari's voice stopped Imperator. Kari pointed an group of Raticate. When an Raticate jumped on Kari, Imperator's mind went spinning out of control. She fueled Blaze with Darkness.
Blaze turned into an black version of Charizard. "A Shadow Pokemon!" Lt. Surge shouted. He grabbed an Pokemon and released Electrode. "Tackle attack!" Surge ordered. The red and white Pokemon attacked the wild Raticate and Kari used an Pokeball to catch it. Lt. Surge grabbed Kari's wheelchair and pushed her off of the battlefield.
"Shadow Charizard, Fire Blast!" Imperator ordered. Shadow Charizard obeyed and the attack fainted all the wild Raticate.
Imperator was still raging in the battlefield and Lt. Surge told his Electrode to use Thunderbolt and the electricity didn't hurt Imperator. She growled and when Kari simply looked at her., she stopped raging.
"Charizard stop!" Imperator ordered. Charizard stood down.
