Chapter 9 ~ The Perfectly Insane Gym Leader

(Kari's POV)

I was watching Trixie battling with the Gym Leader Misty. Misty was an Water-type Trainer, but Trixie had an Pikachu.

In 2 minutes, Trixie won the battle, but Misty wasn't too happy about her lose. "Damn you, Trixie the Imperator!" Misty shouted at Trixie. Misty noticed that I was looking at her and she smirked. Misty jumped and landed beside me. I gasped at her immature actions and I realized that all she needed was a person that wouldn't mind playing with her. 

Trixie growled as Misty put her hands on both of my shoulders. I shook at my head at Trixie and Trixie stopped her approach. I was glad that she trusted me.

"I heard you've made a new friend, but I've never believed it. Now, I do." Misty says, giggling. Misty leaned down towards my cheek and she snuggled closer to her. I could do nothing but giggle at the gym leader. I could tell that Trixie was shocked by Misty's actions and she could only gaped at us. 

"She's lonely and insane." I told Trixie.

(Trixie's POV)

I was very shocked at Misty's being playful. I have heard stories about her being psychotic after losing a gym battle, but I guess those were just stories to scare challengers into not challenging the gym. I noticed that Kari didn't seem to mind playing with Misty as Misty acted like a little child.
