Christina's P.O.V
Somethings up.
I can see it in his eyes, I'm normally good at telling what wrong but I can't quite understand what's he's going though, but something tells me I'm going to find out soon.
I walk towards our regular place and wait for him to arrive, he isn't normally late. What's tacking him so long?
"Hey sorry I'm late, I had some um.., stuff to d..."
"Quit the bull shit!" I say making him satire up at me in surprise.
"What the hell is going on?! Your acting different and as your best friend I notice these things! Not to mention the fact that your clearly in pain!" I continue, trying to keep my voice down.
I look at him expectantly.
He just looks down and doesn't say a word.
I reach out to him but before I can touch him he flinched away and I can see fear and pain flash across his face.
I take a step back, confused.
"I'm my going to hurt you, let me help." I whispered softer.
We stood in silence for a few minutes before he sat against the wall and spoke up.
"My father.. Well I'm he... has a short temper and well..." He trials of and then it hits me.
For years he had been coming to school and work with black eyed, scars and I never thought once about it.
"Did he do this to you?" I asked my voice cracking at the end.
He just looked down to the floor confirming what I had already thought.
I stand there amazed. He went through that and never told anyone, he suffered in pain. I feel my blood begin to boil and in rage I punch the wall, but once isn't enough and I reputedly take my anger out on it, the pain of my knuckles must be nothing compared to what he went through.
Suddenly hands are on my arms forcing me to stop. I look up to find Zane starring down at me.
"I'm so sort I wasn't there to help." I mutter annoyed in myself.
"Don't, there's nothing I could do." He whispers his deep blue eyes look into me, he doesn't know how much he means to me, the feelings I have for him, their real.
