He was standing his ground while the man, well wolf, was walking back and fourth. They were having this standoff, no one attacked each other, just stood there.

"Leave her alone." He growled. The wolf just stared at him like he was speaking a different language. But I knew he understand him, he just wanted to mess with him.

"I said....leave her alone." He was standing over me and kept his eyes on the wolf. Looking at Miles protecting me began to raise questions through my mind. Like if I'm really that important to him. I mean, he tried to kill me earlier, but now he wants me alive. Why is that? His fist began to clutch tighter as the veins from his arms started to pop out. The wolf began to smile and looked at me. The sick bastard might be thinking about how he could've got his way with me. The more he looked at me, the more Miles blocked his vision.

The mystery man, or wolf, was prancing in circles then stopped, as if he knew what he was going to do next. He ran towards Miles and tried to attack him. Miles responded by running at him too like a Spartan and I got up quick before the altercation came near my direction. I wiped all the dirt off of me and backed away. I would find Lily but I have a feeling something might not come good out of this. I watched Miles trying to attack him, but his opponent jumped over him and has his eyes locked down on me. Is he....is he coming after me?! After landing on all fours of his feet, he began walking near me and my body automatically began to run, again. I knew something bad was about to happen. Miles is not doing a good job protecting me right now. He needs to do something!

I kept running away while hearing him gallop towards me. If I continue running straight he's going to catch up with me. To prevent that from happening, I made myself turn in opposite directions.

"Miles!" I yelled. "Miles!" I waited for him to at least do something, to knock him off his tracks, something! I heard growling and then howling from behind me. I turned around to see the wolf and Miles on the ground wrestling with each other. The mysterious man was trying to get out of his grip to continue with his motive but Miles made it difficult for him to so. He had the wolf in an arm lock and the wolf tried to respond back by biting him by his facial expression but instead he escaped. Miles pulled him back in and began biting him and the wolf began squirming then growled until he got off of him. The growling turned into whimpering and I immediately knew it came from the wolf. Then it turned into squealing and the he got up from the ground standing on his hind four injured leg. Miles stood up to and had his fist balled up again.

"Leave.....now." He assured us. The wolf looked at me and growled. I knew this wasn't going to be the last time I see him. I could tell by the way he stared at me and sending me a message, without mind-linking with me even though I'm not one of them. Then he turned around and walked away while whimpering.

Out into the woods, back to where he belongs or to find another way on getting a second shot. But Miles, he didn't turn around, or moved a muscle. I know he's mad at me for doing this, let alone have Lily be put in a situation like this. I pulled myself up and began to wipe the dirt off of me. I didn't if I should thank him or be scared of what might happen next.

"Get back in the house." He growled. The thought of me going into that house meant I would be locked up, for good.

"Thank y-" I spoke softly.

"I SAID GET IN THE DAMN HOUSE!" He barked that it scared me. I would go back to the house, but I don't know which way to go. He didn't even look at me, his back was still facing towards me. The guilt weighed on my shoulders because of Lily, and I knew that dream of being free was going to fade soon.

"Nadia....Nadia!" A voice said making me snap back into reality. It was Lily who yelled running towards me. The dirt was attached to her hoodie and some got on her nightgown and teddy bear. She began wrapping her arms around my leg and pressed her head on my leg, her hair covering my legs and the grip was making me unable to move. "I'm glad you're okay." She said and felt her body shaking.
