Okay, today is the day. The day I can finally be free. All or nothing for me right now. I looked at the clock and saw that it was two o'clock. It's in the middle of the night. Perfect. Everyone should be sleep and I should be home in the morning since I have to travel by foot. Now I just have to freshen myself up before I go.

I cut the light on in the bathroom and I grabbed the toothbrush and toothpaste then proceeded to brush my teeth. The more I think about it, the more I think about it might fail. What if someone stops me? What if Miles find out? Or Brandon? More importantly...what about Lily? How do I tell her that I'm going to be leaving for good? It's best not to tell her.

I looked in myself in the mirror and saw that my hair was messed up. First thing I have to do once I leave out of here is to find a hairstylist. Well, the second thing. I should head home to my dad first. I spit the toothpaste in the sink then ran the water to get it off. I saw the damp washcloth was by the sink that I grabbed it and let the warm water get soaked in. "Okay." I said while wrenching the rag. "I can do this. Just don't get caught." My nerves were started to get the best of me. Calm down. You got this. I took a deep breath and felt my body calming down a little. That's better. I knew that I'm going to be dirty by the time I get home, so whats the point on taking a shower right now.

Walking out the bathroom, I went to the nightstand and pulled out the knife from the dresser. Wrapped around in paper towel, I placed it in the front pocket so I can pull it out quickly. Just in case anything goes haywire. I put on my house shoes and then grabbed the crutches from the side of the bed and walked to the door. In order for them to not know that I'm feeling fine, I have to play the part. My legs do hurt, but now is the time to leave. I opened the door then checked both sides of the hallway. Coast is clear. I walked out of the room then slowly closed the door. Okay....its go time.

I went to the left side of the hallway and to think about the last time I went down this hallway. Now that you kind of think it, I was just left Lily's room a few hours ago and I still don't remember where it's at. Heck, I don't even remember where the infirmary is located. I'm off to a bad start. Crap. Now I have to walk all around the house just to get the hell out here. I began walking from left to right and left again. Who build this house to be a fucking labyrinth?! I passed almost every door that look the exact same, until I saw a two-door room. It was dark brown with details all around it and a golden doorknob.

"This must be it." I said to myself. I opened the door and saw there was a huge shelf of books from every corner. "Nevermind...it's a library." I closed the door and went back to walking down the hallway. I turned to the right and then I saw Lily down the hall wiping her eyes. She had on her white nightgown while holding a teddy bear in her other hand. Her blonde hair was all over the place, in her face and some sticking up. I tried turning back around before she could get her vision together.

"Nadia." She spoke softly. Shit shit shit.

"Yes?" I said in a sweet tone.

"Where are you going?" yawning the words out. I don't know what to say. What do I say....think...think. I got it!

"I'm just going to take a walk. Do you know where I can go outside and get some fresh air?"

"Sure...it's on the right and there should be a glass door to backyard."

"Thanks sweetie." I walked down the hallway and passed Lily.

"Are you coming back?"

"Yeah....I will....soon."

"You promise?" She said. I turned around and looked at her. Part of me felt that if I leave, then I would leave Lily as well. Only knowing her for a couple of days made it seem like I was there when she was first born. Watching her turn into this sweet little girl.
