Author note: Sorry I never got to upload. Technical Difficulties.  Because I took so long, I'm uploading an ImmortalFox today. This chapter is going to be slightly short too because my brain is stupid today. I might possibly upload another Jeamus chapter as well.

[James' point of view]

Seamus was coming over today. I needed to clean; fast. If I was going to impress him- Wait, "Impress?"  I have to admit, I like Seamus but I like girls too. I finished cleaning the house just as a familiar jingle erupted near the front door. As I opened the door, I saw a smiling Seamus staring back at me. I wanted to compliment the change in his mood, but the memories of last night were still too fresh. "Hey." I greeted as I opened the door slightly more and gestured for him to come inside. Seamus removed his shoes and followed me to the kitchen. "Need anything to eat or drink?" I asked. Seamus smiled and replied with a simple 'No Thank-you.' We sat on the tall seats near the counter and I asked him what he wanted to do.

[Seamus' point of view]

"What do you wanna do? I've got tons of consoles we could game on." James asked me. I needed to tell him soon, if I didn't, I'd have more to worry about later. "Sure. Do you, uh, play minecraft?" I replied with. James nodded and gestured for me to follow him again. James lead me downstairs and towards the couch. We sat down and James turned on the Xbox. Alright, Seamus. Now or never. "Hey, James?" I began. James looked towards me and smiled. "Yeah?" He said. "I know we haven't really gotten to know eachother, but you were the only one who saw me get fired. Now that I don't have a job, I can't pay for my apartment. I was wondering if you would consider letting me stay with you until I found a job." I asked. I could feel my cheeks getting hotter as the silence dragged on. James smiled and replied. "Yeah, of course. What kind of 'new friend' would I be if I didn't offer to help?"

The rest of the night was filled with laughing, Mario Cart, Minecraft, and shouting from when we died while playing. Because I didn't want to look desperate or too forward, I never brought a bag of clothes and whatnot. James offered his clothes, and I happily accepted. James managed to set up a mattress in the spare room for me. "Night James. Thanks, again." I said as he walked towards his room to sleep. "No problem." James replied while smiling. Finally, so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and it was all thanks to James.

[The next day] [Seamus' point of view]

I was awoken at 12:01 by yelling and smashing, produced by what sounded like James. I quickly got out of bed and ran towards James' room and swung the door open. I found James yelling into a mic over slabs in Minecraft. "James! W-what are you doing?" I said. James turned around and looked confused, then quickly changed to embarrassment. "Oh, sorry. I forgot you stayed here. I was recording rage videos for YouTube." I laughed and apologized too. "I didn't know you were recording, I thought something was wrong. Sorry for ruining your footage." I watched as James pressed F9 and stopped recording. "It's fine. I recorded what I needed to already." James said. Just then, thunder boomed outside and I just realized it was raining. "The mighty Thor has spoken!" James joked. I laughed and sat on his bed. James walked over and sat beside me; putting an arm around my shoulder and nudging me closer. "You know, I'm not a fan of stupid emotional crap, but if you ever need help finding a job, I'll always be there." James said. I blushed and hugged James back. "Thanks James." I said. We sat there for a while, listening to the rain on the window and each other's heartbeats. This is turning out to be a great start of a new friendship.
