Song of the chapter: Drag me down by One Direction

I had no bad dreams, infact, I had no dreams at all. As soon as I was asleep, I was awake, in Carls arms. I smiled and turned over so I was facing him and kissed his nose. His eyes fluttered open and I then kissed his forehead, "Mornin' sleepy." I said quietly.

"Morning beautiful." Carl said and returned the small kiss.

I gave him a big bear hug and snuggled my face into the crook of his bare neck. "You're so warm." I mumbled.
"Yeah, but you're freezing." He laughed.

"Really? I don't feel it." I laughed and let go, rolling out of bed.

I stretched my arms and twisted my back around until I felt the familiar and satisfying clicking noise,Then I turned the other side and heard the noise again. "Urgh." I herd a grunt from behind me.

"What?" My eyebrows furrowed.

"I hate the sound of bones clicking." Carl shuddered.

"I get a sore back if I don't, so grow a pair." I said, smirking.

"I already have some, you don't." He laughed.

I turned around and looked at him with a disgusted, confused and weirded-out look. "What?" He mocked me, stepping out of bed and walking towards the door.
"Unless you want those pair to be cut off in your sleep, I would suggest you stop mocking me." I said with a raised eyebrow and hands on my hips, much like a mother.

Carls face showed pure horror. "I'm just kidding." I smiled.
"Doing that to you would be like chopping off my boobs or my butt, not that I have any." I laughed.
"You might not, but you suit not having much of a figure." he smirked and walked out of my room and into his own.

My room. It was weird saying that now, because I haven't said so in such a long time. I closed my door and slipped off my leggings and singlet. On the closet door was a body-length mirror. I cocked my head to the side and smiled. All of the dips and sharp indents on my body have started to fill out the tiniest bit. Once I put my clothes from last night on, I walked down the steps and into the kitchen. Carl was already there, filling up two bowls of cereal. "Oh crap." I said, feeling my hair, "Be right back, forgot to brush my hair."

Once again, I never thought I would be saying that. Very quickly, I combed through my light brown hair and jogged down the stairs and to the dining table. Carl was siiting there, already eating his cornflakes. I sat down next to him and took a spoonful of the crispy, golden food. "Thanks for breakfast." I said, taking another spoonful.

"Welcome." He flashed a smile and continued eating.

"Deanna said she would be doing these auditions or interviews, something like that today." I said while we washed our dishes and put them back in their place.
"I don't like her, she creeps me out." Carl said.
"Yeah same, so did that Aaron guy." I said quietly.
"Because he gave you a pat down?" He assumed.

I nodded. "Hey." He said, picking me up and setting me on the counter, him standing between my legs.
"No one is going to touch you okay? I won't let that happen. No one is going to hurt you, either. Okay?" Carl raised his eyebrows.
"Okay." I forced a smile.

He pecked me on the lips and set me down on the floor again, "Let's go to the town hall where dad told us to meet him, I think we may be late." Carl said and grabbed his signature hat.
Me and Carl walked side by side to this 'town hall' thing we were meant to be at by now. Rick sat at the steps with a disappointed look on his face. He stood up and crossed his arms, scolding mostly me. I looked down at my hands and fiddled with them. "Why are you late?" he asked sternly.

"I'm sorry, I guess we slept in." I sighed.

Rick sighed and dropped his arms, "Just don't let it happen again okay, kid?" He said nicer.
I looked up and nodded, then I looked at Carl who was giving his dad the evils. so I smacked his arm and he snapped out of it.

Rick then lead us to what must be Deanna's house, where the auditions are. "I'm scared, Carl." I whispered.
"You'll be fine." he assured me.
"But what if she kicks one of us out? I don't want to be by myself again." I rambled.
"You won't, just be yourself and you'll be okay." Carl took my hand in his, squeezed it, then let it go.

Rick knocked on the witch's door, and she opened it. "We're here for the auditions." He said.

"Okay, Rick, can I see you first?" She stepped aside so he could go in, "You two just wait out here, we won't be more than ten minutes."

Yes I know that this is a short chapter but, at least it's something! bye my lovelies xx
