EPILOGUE

A bright sunny day that is ideal for brunch outside the garden area made the chairs and picnic table somehow glisten from the sunlight and the shade of the oak trees nearby.

Bob woke up by the cool breeze of the morning as the door curtain bounces from the wind and sparkles a series of rays of sunlight into his face.

He got up and found himself wearing pajamas which are surprisingly comfortable.

He headed towards the open sliding door that leads to the garden outside where he can hear people chatting and that cute familiar laugh from a woman that is music to his ears.

His chest gets warmer as he comes closer to the sound and he could hear more clear that voice he always wanted to hear so cheerfully.

He stepped out and the bright sunny day surprised his vision until he could finally see again.

Without hesitation he continued to walk towards the laughing woman and when he could see her finally, she's sitting in a chair, beautifully ensembled in a peach summer dress that feels warm and cozy.

Her hair is much longer now that reminded him of the side effect from the curing chambers.

Long dark hair that floats in the summer breeze.

She hasn't noticed him yet but he plans to get her attention.

"Kai..." he said softly, and instantly she glanced to his direction and her eyes widened in surprise.

She smiled so pretty and started to run towards him.

She jumped into his arms, embracing him, and he could feel his back ache a bit by her weight.

"Magun-deng owmaga pow..." she said smiling.

Bob chuckled. "Pwede na... Close enough."

On his right peripheral vision he saw Gener coming and he turned to see his friend dressed in cool summer outfit as well.

"How long was I out?" he asked to Kai.

"Uhhmmm about three days... You were awake once in a while, like sleep walking. Don't you remember?"

Bob shook his head.

"How's the Quant?" he said turning to Gener.

"Busy, cleaning space debris."

"And Rodrick?..."

Kai pointed to the picnic table where the whispering pirate is sitting. In his hands is a large hamburger that he started to bite.

"What is that?" Bob and Gener asked, almost in unison.

"That is a hamburger..... Do you wanna try it?"

"Looks weird."

"Smells weird."

"But tastes good..." Bob said biting the hamburger in his hands which he stole from Rodrick; using his front-drag speed.

Gener's eyes widened in awe and remembered how many times in his childhood did his food suddenly disappear without a trace.

"So that's how you do it.... You asshole." Gener said in fury and slammed his palm to smack his nape but to no avail.

His hand just went thru him like he was hitting a hologram.

His attempt was immediately followed by Kai who went dead straight to his nape. Pak!! Hitting him hard that Bob almost spitted out the tasty burger in his mouth.

"Ouch...." he said, withhis mouth full.
