Ch.8 Harrison's Moment

The bell rings and that's it, schools out for the summer. I can't wait to go swimming and to the beach and play video games and eat junk food and... Harrison was thinking before he was interrupted by Lidia. (Lidia is his crush). "Hey Harrison!" She said excitedly. "Oh hush Lidia, wassup?" He said trying to stay cool. "oh nothing, so got any plans over the summer?" "Uh, just hanging out at home, I think Asher, Aubree, and I might go on a mini vacation but other then that, nope!" He said almost too fast. "Cool, so I was thinking maybe you'd want to hang out sometimes then? If that's okay with you?" She said nervously. "YES!, (couch couch) i mean yeah sure, just text me and let me know." She noted and wrote her number down on a piece of paper and walked to her moms care and he walked to Asher's.

"Hey there kido, what you go there?" Asher said excitedly. "Dude you'll never guess, I just got Lidia Scott's number!!!!" He said really loud. "Cool no way, is she coming over?" He said really cool like. "Totally."

*They pull into the driveway of their home.
Harrison comes in screaming to Aubree that he got some girls number and she's laughing at him. Then Asher walks in and says "oh my it smells good in here, and where'd you go after school?" He goes over to her and kisses her and she says, "It's Chinese takeout, eat up."

They all three eat at the dinner table and they all go on about their last day of school. Harrison blurted out "Aubree I can't believe you're a senior now!" Aubree came back sharp and said "I know, aren't I getting old." They all three looked at each other and started laughing. Harrison asks Aubree "Is it okay if me and Lidia go to the beach later or something?" Aubree said "Sure, but aren't you staying the night with Lucas later?" Asher said "Don't be doing no funny business with her" Harrison fired a hot one back and said "What like you do with my sister?!?" Aubree said "okay, that's enough yes you can just be safe, and I'm pretty sure I heard Harrison say he's going to clean up the table!" "Hey not fair!" Harrison says dissapointed. "Like isn't fair but sucks." She said.

Harrison and Lidia are walking on the beach and they were getting to know each other and stuff like that. She was telling him about how she has 3 other siblings and that she lives with her mom. And Harrison said both his parents died a few months back so he just lives with his only sister and Asher, who was basically a brother.
They were laying there in the sand and Harrison didn't know what to say so he said "Wanna go get a drink?" She said "sure." He stands up and offers his hand down to help her up and when they stand up she doesn't let go of his hand, she grips it in a way to where they are now holding hands and they both grin.
It was getting late and he still had to go over to Lucas's, so he insisted on walking her home.
When they got to her door step he said "I had a great time, we should hang out again!" Nervously. She said "Totally, I thought tonight was great, we can for sure hang out again." She opened her door and walked in and right before she shut up he put his hand on the door and pulled her in closer and gave her a kiss. When they were done she said, "Yup, totally hanging out again." They both laughed and she shut the door. Now Harrison was off to Lucas's house to play the new video game.

When he got to Lucas's he told him everything that happened and Lucas seemed so amazed and gave him a high five, then they played the game and ordered pizza for dinner.
