The thought of my first kill always fills me with disgust. I was feeble back then. So weak. The crying grew less with every murder I commited, and by now, I didn't cry at all. It was better this way. The voices in my head were surprisingly silent, and I still hadn't build up any excitement for my next kill. Instead I felt empty. It felt weird. I twitched, with more intensity than ever, and tripped over my own feet. I cursed as I stuggled to get up. I saw a wound gaping at my knee, but I couldn't feel it anyway, so I kept going, not caring if the wound got infected or not.

When I finally left the forest, I saw that the street lanterns were already lit. I was confused, I could've sworn it was midday when I left the residence. I guess you lose track of time when you're in there. I remained at the edge of the forest, staring into the void, when I suddenly heard a branch break behind me. Immediately I was on edge, and I hid behind a tree, wanting to see what I was up against. To my relief, but also much to my disgust, I saw Masky also leaving the forest. I couldn't see his face, but I bet he was pretty full of himself. He hadn't got assignments in weeks, while I got most of them. Even Hoodie started to get jealous now. I couldn't help but snigger behind the tree, knowing that the Slender Man deemed me the most capable killer of the three of us, and unfortunately Masky heard. He turned around on his heels, and I heard him sigh as he saw me.

"Hey Masky!" I said in an upbeat voice. I started laughing uncontrollably. "Wanna play a game mate?" I said as I brought my face closer to his, laughing at him with crazy eyes.

Masky sighed. "Get away from me Toby, I got work to do"

I frowned. "What, running errands? Getting groceries?" I stated sarcastically, only to burst out in laughter again.

"Toby, I swear to God, I will kill you with my bare hands if you don't leave me alone right now."

"Why must you hurt me in this way Masky?" I pouted, before laughing again.

"As I said, I have things to do, now stop keeping me from my work."

"Jealous are we?" I asked him in a raspy, but still upbeat voice. Then I suddenly grabbed one of my hatchets and held it against his throat. "Jealous are we?" I whispered into his ear. I backed away and started giggling, which very soon turned into straight out laughter, and I couldn't stop.

"Toby, shut up!" Masky shouted. "You're going to wake the people if you're not careful."

"Says who bro?" I chirped, unaware of the danger I put us in with my bipolar behaviour.

"I. Am. Not. Your. Bro." Masky said through clenched teeth. "Now beat it Toby"

"Fine, you're no fun, hehe." I said stroking the handle of one of my hatchets. "Gotta run anyways, I have real things to do. Bye bye now!" I pestered him and ran off, leaving a frustrated Masky on the edge of the forest, and myself in a psycho happy state.

During my trip to my destination I still giggled uncontrollably at times, and with that the tics also grew more frequent. The voices in my head finally started talking again, and I welcomed them with open arms. "Who the heck needs a social life huh!" I shouted into the void.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a light being turned on and I fled to the cover of the bushes at the playground. The window opened, and I saw someone looking outside, searching the source of the sound I just made. I mentally punished myself for that. "Stupid!" I hissed, and I started to gnaw at my gloved fingers, nearly biting through the already weak material they were made of.

"Hello?" A female voice shouted. Was she at the front door?! I quickly glanced over the bushes, and saw a woman standing in the doorway, a bathrobe draped around her. I heard her walking outside, determined to seek out the noise I made. -I guess that'll make one extra kill then- I thought joyfully. More fun for me. I was silently hoping the Slender Man wouldn't mind me butchering one more of the assholes that roam the earth, because the job he just gave me had top priority on his list.

I weighed my chances against eachother, and finally made the decision that killing her wouldn't hurt anybody. I was craving blood, and I didn't think I was gonna last any longer if I didn't kill another person along the way. I grinned widely as I made my way through the bushes. Suddenly I twitched, with more intensity than before, and fell loudly, making too much noise for my liking. I couldn't help but curse, and the woman went to investigate. "There goes the element of surprise I guess" and I remained laying of the ground, grabbing hold of my two hatchets tightly. When the woman saw me, I could hear her gasping. She must've thought I was some sort of drunk moron who fell over and she rushed over to me. As she turned my over on my back an utter look of concern washed over my face, and before she could do anything else, I slammed my older hatchet into her leg, making her fall over and whimper in pain.

"What are you doing!" She shouted at me.

"Shhh now, you're gonna w-wake the neighbors if you're not c-careful. Now we wouldn't want that would we?" I grinned.

She crawled away, desperately trying to get up using her wounded leg. I let her go for a second, knowing that in the place I struck her, she wouldn't be able to get far. I twitched at such a beautiful sight. Her unconcious mind was making attempts to save its hostess, even though deep down below she already knew she was fucked. I tugged slightly at my gloves, taking my time as I got ready for the kill.

"W-who are you?" She asked, finally giving up on her attemps to get away from me.

"I would've appreciated it if you tried just a little bit more to flee. I enjoyed watching you struggle you know." I just answered, not paying attention to her question.

"T-toby?" disbelief spread over the woman's face as she looked up at me.

I was confused. How did she know my name? Not choosing to give in to what she just said, I continued to approach her, placing my older hatchet on her throat. "Which leg do you wanna lose first, bitch?"

She gasped as I came closer, but not out of fright. It was out of disbelief.

"Oh my God, Toby, it is you!" She exclaimed, embracing me tightly. I froze in place, not able to do anything but being surprised about the fact I just got embraced by one of my own victims, whom I just snapped her leg muscles with my hatchet for crying out loud. I didn't understand. My grip on my hatchets loosened. It happened almost unconciously, and then she held my body away from her, as if to look at my face. She placed her hand on my cheek and caressed it for a second.

"Oh Toby, what has become of you, my baby boy?" She asked, more to herself that to me.

Suddenly it hit me. This woman, this piece of filth was, or had been for that matter, my mother. It frightened me to see her. Age took its toll on her. The wrinkles by her eyes got deeper, and the bags under her eyes were clearly visible, even with the feeble lighting of the street lantern we were under.

"M-mum?"
