Viola's POV

That kind guy, Leo led me through the forest. Suddenly, a girl came running towards us. She was blonde and had storm grey eyes. I liked the look of the girl. She looked confused when she saw Leo with me.

'Who have you got here, Leo?' the blonde girl asked, studying me. 'Úm, I was running away from a crazy bull man and hid in this forest and this kind guy, Leo and he is taking me to some guy called Chiron' I gabbled desperately.

'Oh, so you must be the girl William was talking of. C'mon, he is really worried about you. He really is in deep shit with Chiron for not bringing you safely. Chiron is expecting you' the blonde girl said taking hold of me leaving Leo standing there, confused. 'Well, what exactly is this Camp Half-Blood?' I asked as we walked to the camp. 'Chiron will explain' she said, answering in monotone.

'By the way, I'm Viola' I said.

'Can I know your name, at least?' I asked. 'Annabeth' she said and didn't take the conversation any further. Something was really wrong with this girl. Her eyes looked sad and her face expressionless. I felt sorry for her even though I didn't really know. 'So these demigods, they are children of gods? Or so William told me' I say, waiting for her to call me stupid. 'He is right' she said. 'Look,' she said looking at me in the eyes, 'being the daughters or sons of the gods is sometimes the most frightening thing on the earth. You won't find this life easy. Currently, the world is in trouble. The Earth goddess, Gaia is waking. Never mind, Chiron will explain.' I was freaked out. Of course, I knew Greek Mythology but I never knew it could be real. As we neared the camp and out of the horrible forest, I could hear merry chattering of people and see blazing fires.

'We're here' Annabeth said as if it wasn't obvious. Everyone stared at us, no at me, as we walked to some place called 'Big House'.

Out of nowhere, a horse no a man, uh, came bounding towards. Then it struck me, he was a centaur! 'That's Chiron' Annabeth whispered.

'Chiron, this is Viola. You were expecting her' Annabeth said. 'Well, come in here, Viola' said Chiron. He studied me up and down as if expecting me to turn into a monster. His voice was deep and grave, and his face looked sad. He led me towards the Big House. Annabeth walked with us, smiling at me reassuringly. I decided that I liked this kind girl.

'We have quite a lot of things to discuss, Viola,' Chiron said, 'You will find this life hard. Being a demigod isn't exactly the easiest thing on earth. Plus, this Camp's in a lot of trouble. Giants are stirring, the Earth Goddess, Gaia is waking. But you'll be safe here. My instincts tell me there is going to be a war between the two camps-Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. We'll try to maintain peace between the two camps. The Roman's are our enemies but we'll have to hope for the best. As you know, the Roman's aren't exactly on friendly terms with us. You'll have to stay here, at Camp-Half Blood and train and defend our camp whenever needed. We hope you'll be claimed by your father tonight.' My mind was spinning. Going round and round in circles. Claimed by my father? I knew had a father, but he had left my mother even before I was born. My mother moved on and married by stupid step-father.

Annabeth and I left the Big House and made our way to the dinner pavilion. I was to sit with the Hermes cabin and those guys were really friendly. Annabeth told me all about the cabins and that she was the daughter of Athena. A boy sat alone at the Zeus dinner table. The rest of the tables-Athena, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Apollo etc. were full. The Hades and Poseidon were empty. I felt really strange and unknown at this camp.

There was something going on in here. Everyone around me were whispering about someone called 'Percy Jackson' and some quest about flying to the ancient lands. Suddenly the blonde boy at Zeus table spoke up, 'There is no sign of Percy Jackson, so we suppose he is at Camp-Jupiter. The ship will be ready in two days, right Leo?' The curly haired boy, who I had met before nodded. 'So' the boy continued, 'We will be setting sail in two days, to find the ancient lands. Leo, Piper and Annabeth will be accompanying me. The prophecy is about 8 demigods in which 3 we don't know about but hopefully we will find them'.

Suddenly everyone started looking at me. 'What?' I asked, bewildered. A kid shakily held up her hand above me. I was stunned and couldn't move when I looked up. A lyre glowed golden above me. I gasped, unable to move.

'Behold, daughter of Apollo' Annabeth said solemnly.

The camp went eerily quite. 'Rachel!' Annabeth exclaimed. Everyone seemed to have forgotten about me. The eyes of the girl, Rachel who was sitting beside Annabeth begin glowed green. Everyone around me stared at the girl, horrified. Suddenly, she spoke in a deep voice :

'The Newest shall fight

Apollo's daughter will rise

She shall have her last breathe

But to glory she will fight

Clever with healing

Excellent with Archery

She shall lead the group

To rise or fall, she will determine!'

(Sorry for the crappy prophecy guys!)
