Everything around me seemed to slowly blur into view. First, a bright light shown on me, causing me to look in the other direction while bringing my hands up to cover the light. Then, I slowly turned to the right. The stethoscope, thermometer, and first-aid kit let me know that there was a high probability that I was in the nurse's office. I blinked rapidly for a few moments, then slowly sat up. "Hello?" Slam! I turned quickly towards the door, breathing rapidly, then calmed as I realized, looking through the patterned glass in the door, that it was a girl, crashing into it. She steadied herself, then fumbled for the doorknob. Eventually, she got to it and opened the door. Frazzled, she smiled at me, catching her breath. "Hello... I'm Anna." Slowly, she became more composed and eventually didn't need to lean against the counter, which had, for a moment, become a crutch for her.
