The double 'first' is intentional, you'll see why in a chapter or two.

Hermione jumped out of her dream, and, at the same time, violently fell off her bed, onto the cold, hard, wooden floor. She lay there, on her stomach, and tried to (and failed) continue sleeping. She desperately wanted to continue her dream, which was about fireworks exploding on a certain Weasleys' face, resulting in him disappearing. And then some snogging with a certain Weasley twin..
Sadly, it was rudely interrupted by a different red-headed Weasley, who was intent on waking Hermione up properly and getting her ready for her upcoming date. Hermione was, to say the least, nervous. She had a pretty good idea of who her date was, but she wasn't completely sure. If she were to be wrong, she'd be thoroughly dissapointed.
"RISE AND SHIIINE!! It is a new day here at Pheonix Cottage and Granger here has a hot date in... 6 hours!!! Soo chop chop!!" Ginny announced enthusiastically, as if she and Hermione weren't the only people in the house.
While Hermione continued ignoring Ginny, she simply made a (very effective) plan to wake Hermione up once and for all. She pointed her wand at her and 'aguamenti'.. Hermione sprang up from the floor, soaking wet, and glared at the red-head. Ginny smirked smugly and pushed her towards the bathroom, locking her in.
Hermione scowled and got undressed, all while grumbling and muttering under her breath about Ginny and her happy approach to blind dates. A 3-quarters-of-an-hour-long bath later and she was both awake and refreshed. Then, routinely, she glanced at the clock and had to double check to see if she saw the time properly, resulting in her almost fainted in surprise.
It was half past midday and she was slightly angry. She thought she must've overslept, for she always wakes up at 8am on weekends, holidays or any work-free days. On work days, she woke up at 6am. She thanked Ginny in her mind for waking her up, she wasn't angry or annoyed anymore. At least, not at Ginny.

By 5:00pm, Ginny had completely prepared Hermione for her date, sometimes putting too much make-up, but toning it down upon Hermione's request as she neither wanted to look fake nor look like she was trying too hard. She never was and never will be a fake.
Her extremely curly hair was cut slightly shorter by Ginny (as per her request) and straightened a bit, then tied up in a high pony-tail. Her side fringe was not tied up though. Her make up was simply simple: not too much black eyeliner, light yellow-y eyeshadow and apple flavoured lip gloss. She wore bright yellow skinny jeans, black converse and a grey long-sleeved t-shirt. She also donned a simple necklace with just a teardrop shaped ruby, outlined with silver, a pair of stud earrings (also rubies, but circular) and, lastly, her new tattoo she had inked two days previously.
After only just another 10 minutes, the doorbell rang loudly, stopping then repeating, surprising both Ginny and Hermione. Must be early. Ignoring Hermione's protests about everything and anything, Ginny pulled her up off the sofa, opened the door and all but pushed and locked her out to the unusually pitch black dark street.
Hermione, clearly not prepared for Ginny's sudden actions; stumbled, tripped and fell into the arms of someone familiar. All in a second. In just another second, she rapidly stood up properly and lit up her wand. Lumos. She looked up and saw the familiar grinning face of Fred Weasley.
His short orangy-brown hair was all messed up, which looked good on him. His chestnut brown eyes glimmering with happiness and glee. His torso was covered by a black band shirt of P!ATD, which she knew was one of Freds favourite muggle bands. He also wore a zip-up hoodie, which was unzipped at the moment. His legs were covered by a pair of long, greyish combat trousers.
