Okay... As you might've noticed. I've also posted a Fred Weasley story!! :D

But now, let's concentrate on this Draco and Hermione story.

And one last thing. This is set when they're 19-20.

PS. The story is written mostly in 3rd Person POV. But i will probably write a 1st person chapter every 5 chapters pr when something special (in either a good or bad way) happens.

3rd Person POV

'This is pathetic.'

Draco Malfoy stood across the street from her house. And he had to get a job.

But it wasn't his mother who'd told him to get a job. Even though she'd been about to order him to stop moping around before he told her about the interview. But no, It was his own choice. As crazy as it might sound..

But he had his reasons. Most of them were (fake) excuses if she ever asked why he wanted a job. But the truth was that he was in love. And love, being love, makes you do crazy things. Before he could stop himself, the minute he'd heard of her needing help, he'd called her and arranged a date and time to meet for an interview.

That's how he ended up crossing the empty street and walking over to the dark green door. He was ready to knock. But then again, he wasn't. He was trembling, nervous. And after calming down, he decided on knocking. But as he lifted his pale fist to knock on her door, he paused, he'd heard faint crying. Curious, he looked through the nearest window (through which you can perfectly see from the outside what's inside and vice versa) and saw her.

She was curled up, knees against her chest and arms wrapped around them tightly. She was sitting on the floor, against a chair, back facing the window he was looking through. He couldn't see her face, but judging by her almost silent crying, she must have tears running down her face.

He stood there, for about 15 minutes, watching her cry. And it broke his heart. He considered breaking in there and comforting her and had even tried to open a window on the other side of the house, obviously failing. 'I'd never waste my time breaking into any house anyways..' he thought, grumpily. But luckily, he'd made no noise whatsoever. And he returned to the original window, to continue watching her. We was sure he'd made absolutely no noise. He was like a ninja.

The girl, however, who he'd loved for almost 3 years, still sat with her back to the window. Not having visibly moved an inch. But then she said 5 words which told Draco he'd been caught: "I know you're there, Malfoy."

"Damn!" He knew he'd been caught, so he tried opening the front door, as if by luck it'd be open, and it was. So he ran to her, who looked up as he entered the room. Her make up was smudged. Her eyeliner and mascara, the little she'd bothered to apply, had somehow spread around her eyes, making her look like she had big panda eyes. Her curly hair was in a high pony-tail, something he hadn't properly noticed before.

When he was done inspecting the 'damage', he wiped off all the make-up with a cloth he'd found in the kitchen across the hallway and then sat on the floor directly opposite her. They looked up simultaneously and their eyes met.

Gazes locked, neither one of them would dare look away and break the connection.

They would neither dare nor be able to for a while, it seemed.

And as he looked into her hazel brown eyes and she looked into his icy-grey ones.

And he knew one thing.

Draco Malfoy had fallen even more in love with Hermione Granger.

If that were even possible.
