"It was just an accident.." Zach says. "I feel bad.." You look at the wrapped up wound more. "It's okay.. (y/n)..." Zach smiles moving his injured hand away. "Hey can you do me a favour?" Zach asks. "Can you...after school...help me with this project since my hand is missing? Hehe.." He asks. "Well if it's in school...I can't say really say no...so...I'll let you know tomorrow if I can or not.." You say.

"This may just be my chance.." he thinks.

"Okay..I hope you feel better...I'll see you soon" You say walking off.

After school, you were walking by yourself until you feel someone tap on your shoulder. You turn around to see Levi walking behind you. "Where were you?! I was waiting!!" You say shocked. "(Y/n), I won't keep you waiting..again" Levi says sighing. "You didn't sound sarcastic, and this is weirding me out if you meant it.." You say. "I mean it." Levi says. You blush a little. "Hehe.." you nudge him slightly. He pats your head. You tell him about what happened.

"(Y/n)..." He says stopping by the park. You stop too. "Hm?" You mumble. "I always thought there was no point in you hanging around those bratty neanderthals." Levi says. "Yeah, sometimes I feel that way too---" You say before pausing and realizing what he said. "Wait..did you...just...there's no point in ME hanging out with them?.." You ask in shock. "Yeah..you have to think realistically... (y/n) you're really gullible..before Eren or even Zach entered your life, things were better if you haven't thought that." Levi explains. "This whole situation with Eren and Zach...can't you see that if they truly loved you they would've settled it out with something better?" Levi asks. "I can give you that." Levi says.

"You..what?" You ask taking a large gulp. "I think you need to start fresh.." Levi says. "So how about tomorrow we both can go somewhere and talk.." Levi asks. "Uhm...uhnm...okay!" You say. "Sorry, but this is for your own good.." Levi says. "Mmkay.." you say. "But I gotta see.." you say.

As soon as you get home. You notice Eren was gone, he left a text saying his parents came to pick him up. You text him and tell him that you hope he gets better. You go upstairs and sigh.

"Alright, my life is starting to suck. Badly." You groan. You hear the door open as it was Shimmer. "(Y/n)!!" She calls. You sigh.

I want to tell her but at the same time...I don't..

"Hi!!" You call to her. She runs upstairs and jumps on you. You groan loudly. "Somethings wrong with you." She says standing up. "No." You say trying to crack a smile. "Yes. Tell me..!!" She says.

"No!--I mean, nothings wrong with me! I'm just thinking about how useless math is. If you think about it. The teacher never told this simple trick with the 9 times table. See, look,
9 times table:
9 × 1 = 9 (don't count this)
9 × 2 = 18
9 × 3 = 27
9 × 4 = 36
9 × 5 = 45
9 × 6 = 54
9 × 7 = 63
9 × 8 = 72
9 × 9 = 81
9 × 10 = 90

See, Shim, look at the right column of the product (18, 27, 36, etc..) but if you look closely, the right side is counting down!! See look 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and the 0! The left colum is counting up! If that makes sense, see. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9! Isn't this just sick? I mean..the teachers hid this from us!! Now you know how to do the 9 times table without a calculator! Congratulations! Bravo! 10/10!!" You explain. Shimmer looks at you as a smile then fills her face.

"OH MY GOSH!! THAT'S GENIUS!!" She says grabbing onto your shoulders.
