Drunk On Love

Chapter 7- "I Was Trying To Hit Nathan"

I have been in the hospital for 2 days now.  I still don't know whats going on, and I'm hoping someone will explain.  I haven't had any guessed because the Doctor won't allow it until I calm down and understand that I'm in a hospital.

"You are leaving today, you seem to be okay and your going to your brothers house" The nurse smiled

"Um...okay...but I don't even know him" I looked up at her

"Well you will get to know him" She replied

One hour later I stood up and walked to get my stuff as my apparent brother and boyfriend walked in to the room.

"Since you don't remember anything let me introduce myself, I'm Jay...and I'm your brother" He smiled to me

"And I'm Nathan, I don't know if you remember but I'm your boyfriend" He took my hand.  He had a few scars on his neck, face and arms. 

"What happened...why am I like this...Why are you like this?" I pointed at Nathans scars 

"We got in a car accident...you and I were arguing about our date and a car came and hit us, you lost your memory and cracked a bone in your arm and I broke my arm and have some scars...I'm sorry...I really am" He wiped a tear away, trying not to cry

"Why were we arguing?" I asked

"You thought I was cheating on you...with some girl, but she was the lady who owned the restaurant I was gonna tell you 'I love you' for the first time, at that restaurant..." Nathan looked at me 

"I'm sorry that I didn't believe you....Wheres my mom and Kian?" I asked Nathan

"How do you remember them??" Nathan looked at me confused

The nurse walked in and heard a bit of the conversation 

"She remembers everything that happened before this year" the nurse looked at Nathan and Jay

"Oh...so she remembers everything, but us?" Jay asked the nurse

"Yes, so you might want to remind her why she is here in L.A. where she met you guys, stuff like that. You might also want to bring someone who she has known before this year that knows you as well" the nurse replied

"Kian!" Nathan and Jay spoke out in the same time

"Oh and if you have any pictures of you guys together that might help her remember everything.  Remember, she still has a chance to remember it all, but its a very small chance.  It doesn't mean you should give up, it means you need to try really hard if she really matters to you" The nurse spoke out to Nathan and Jay

They both nodded and took me out of the hospital and into the car.  The whole car ride, which was about 30 minutes they told me why I was in L.A. and how I met them.  They explained that there were other guys, since they were in a boy band.  Once we arrived to the house I was shocked I lived there...it was big and beautiful.  I came into the house and saw one familiar face.  Kian

"Hey!!" Kian got up from the couch and hugged me 

"Hi!! How have you been?" I asked Kian

"Great, How about you?" He smiled

"I'm doing okay" I looked down

"Whats the last thing that you remember?

"I remember us.  you and me trying to be together" I looked back up at him

"That was a year ago..." Kian replied

"What happened after that night?" I asked Kian

"We broke up, we only lasted 4 months...we were to good of friends to become anything more...it wasn't easy" He looked up at me "Its fine, we are even better friends now...nothing changed" He hugged me again. 

"Do you remember anything else?" Kian asked

"Not really....sorry" I weekly smiled 

Nathan was right behind me and heard everything.  He felt a bit awkward knowing Kian and I tried to date,  I didn't feel awkward because I didn't feel like me and Nathan were together.

"Babe...Maryam, I want to take you out tonight so you can get to know me again..." He smiled 

"Okay...where?" I smiled

"You probably don't remember, but I never tell you where.  Its always a surprise with me" He winked

"Um...okay...well sure" I smiled back and then turned to Jay

"I always wanted to meet my real family, thanks for being there for me" I walked up and Hugged him even though I felt like I hardly knew him.  Something made me feel like we knew each other for years...I don't know what it was though.

"Your tattoo..." I pointed at his lizard tattoo "I have something similar." I looked at him

"Yes I know" He smiled "We are brother and sister, even when we didn't know it, there was something connecting us" Jay spoke out

6 Hours later

Me and Nathan were leaving from our date, I learned some new things about him...but there were things I didn't fully know.  Like his last name, his favourite colour...or our memories.  Nathan brought some photos with him to the date, he showed me and reminded me of some things...I felt like i remembered them but I also felt like it was all a fairytale.  We came in the car and Nathan kissed me, his lips felt familiar and sweet.  I could feel his love through his kiss.  

"Nathan, have we um...had it?" I asked Nathan awkwardly

"No baby, and I know you weren't ready for it...just know I wouldn't pressure you" He kissed me again

Nathan turned on the radio as a song was ending.  

"Next up, is a chart topper.  One of the best songs of the summer!" The radio spoke out

A really familiar song came out, I'm not sure where I heard it from.

"We're drunk on love, we're going to light it up, the fire never ends, this fire never ends, and when tomorrow comes we're gonna hear those drums, we'll do it all again, lets do it all again"  The music played.  Something clicked in my head... something felt different

"Sykes...that's your last name...your favourite colour is red....you winked at me the time i met you and you told Max that you thought I was stunning....Oh my gosh...and you tweeted that I wasn't Jay's girlfriend, and that you weren't singe hinting that we were together! and you dedicated I found you to me" I yelled out calmly 

Nathan parked into the drive way 

"What" Nathan looked at me confused "how do you know all of this?" Nathan looked at me shocked

I kissed Nathan so passionately.  

"I love you Nathan...." I smiled then kissed him again

"Baby...you remember everything?" He looked at me shocked and then hugged me

"I only remember everything in the U.K." I looked down 

"Wait...what am I doing here?" I looked around

"What do you mean?" Nathan looked at me 

"Just kidding" I laughed

"You scared me!" He laughed

"That song...there's something about it that made me remember you..." I smiled

"Drunk on love?" Nathan looked up and looked into my eyes as I nodded

(Not apart of the story) What do you guys think?? Also I won't be updating for 5 weeks ;'( I'm going on vacation and it will be really hard getting Wifi. If I do get wifi then you will find out why the song helped her, and what shes going to have to do in order to remember the rest of her life and what Jonathan meant when he texted her.  I hope you injoyed so far! and I will try to update as soon as possible I hope I will have wifi! xx
