It occurs to me that I asked the question in the authors note without giving any info on Euler himself so here it is Euler pov explains the night that he entered the story

**Euler p.o.v.**

It was about midnight when we got the call from Rodriguez that a large vehicle had pulled up on the strip.

"No daddy stay here!" My four year old son Chris was trying to convince me.

"Sorry bud I can't." I was seriously pissed at Rodriguez. He just had to call my team tonight. "Go tell mommy Rodriguez want's my-"

"He wan'ts your team to go investigate something right!?" Daisey interupted me mid-stream. "That s.o.b. want's you to risk you're life for what's most likely nothing. And on our anniversary of all days!''

She was right this was the third call in ten days and so far thev'e all been nothing.

"Sorry baby but know as well as I do that we don't have a choice. If we want to stay out of the game we have to preform some kind of service for the community."

"You should just play the game no body in here would be able to kill you anyways."

"That may be but I would rather kill those things than the people in here. Look can we just talk about this later?"

"Okay...bye baby."

After a kiss and hug from Cris I left for the armory.

"Sup guys." I finally got to the armory and saw my team already here. The only ones missing were Dolly, she didn't make it back from the last false alarm, and Timmothy. "Were's Tim?''

"He decided it was safer in the game than on patrol." Jose told me.

"Great so we only got five guys tonight."

"And a women." Shelly hated when I referred to her as 'guy'.

"Okay four guys and a women." I said emphasizing the gender.

"Yep we got you, Shelly here, Rod, Billy, and most importantly me Jose."

"Whatever guy, Is everyone ready?" I wasn't going out there with anyone unprepared again.

"YES SIR!" They all responed in unison, I liked that there finally showing some respect I worked my ass off to get this position.

"Everyone got their main and sidearm?"

"YES SIR!"

"And thirty clips of ammunition for both?"

"YES SIR!

"Good job who knows where we are going?"

"Section twenty three." Shelly pointed it out on the map.

"Okay let's go."

The next several minutes were filled with chatting amongst ourselves and stares from the civilians but eventually we got to the front gate.

"Okay team we've got four blocks to go over and sniper cover. I don't want to lose ANYONE tonight so stay with the group and report ANYTHING got it?''

"SIR YES SIR!" I could get used to that.

We got to the vehicle with almost no problems just a few infected here and there luckily none of those ones that can think.

"Secure the perimeter and remember we're out of sight of the snipers so be on you're guard.''

While the team secured the perimeter me and Shelly checked out the car. No body was in it but there was food and signs that people had been in there.

"Euler can you hear me? Over." My walkie went off with Rodriguea's voice.

"Yo."

"The snipers have reported two people wandering around by the east side, about two blocks from you're current position."

"Got, TEAM REGROUP!"

Once everyone was back around me I explained what Rodriguez just said and we set off for the last known position.

It took no time at all to get there and ones we were there I saw an African man and Caucasian women. The women was admiring our fort while the guy seemed to be stressing over the infected in front of them.

"Jose take the shot if you got it."

"Are you kidding the thing is only a single yard away I can't miss." He seemed to be enjoying this a little to much.

He took the shot and we swarmed the couple.

"Get on the ground!" I yelled at them but they didn't listen. "I said on the ground!"

"Okay, okay no need to get violent." The girl said then they both got on the ground.

"Names?" I asked.

"Amy Whinehouse."

"Atom Shalezen."

"Okay come with us...I guess."

On the way back to Rodriguez's tower Amy mentioned two otheres that were searching the weapon stores in town. They wouldn't find much we cleared most of them out.

Once we were in the tower my team left so it was just me and these two. I lead them to the elevator and hit the thirteenth button going up.

After a few minutes of talking I left them with Rodriguez but as I was leaving he called me.

"Euler, Timmothey didn't survive the game tonight i'm sorry to say." He didn't sound sorry. "So you'll need to take his place tommorow." Shit! "Be ready for three."

I could see by the look in his face that there was no arguing with this disscision.

"Oh come on man...fine i'll be ready by three.''

So ya that should help and let it be known this is a two part chapter so it's not finished. Part two will include the game which I think will really be the desciding point for most of you about him.
