bonjour à vous;
on a mid summer's eve, we danced with the stars;
we glistened in the moonlight,
but in the blink of an eye, the clouds covered
the sky and everything in it, and youl e f t.
bonjour à vous;
not a day went by didn't wish you would have
said something before;
but then the clouds moved away, and there was
the sun shining brightly down at me, and your e t u r n e d.
bonjour à vous;
the one i thought would be my sun, moon and stars
even when the clouds threaten to hide all the beauty;
h e l l o t o y o u ,
the one that said g o o d b y e the day the rain began to fall;
the sun came out right after, but one is enough
because the sunshine is all mine.
