Great I thought to myself, another day of shit school just what I need. Where everyone's judgmental and shit. I was all ready and had my bag slung over my shoulder. I was out waiting for the bus, which I shouldn't be waiting for the bus I should have my damn license, I'm 17 for Christ sakes!

The bus was coming up my road great that's just awesome. It stopped in front of me and opened the doors. The lady, Janet, smiled at me. I smiled a little back and looked at my seat. There in my seat, was a boy that I've never seen before. He must be knew. I sat in front of him and scooted in my seat and looked out the window.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around to the new boy.

"Hi, my names Liam, what's yours?" the boy asked politely.

"Bay" I answered.

"That's a beautiful name love."

"Thanks. You're british."

"Was that a question or a statement?"

"A statement."

"You don't seem to like me." he said a little sad.

"I'm just not a people person."

"Why?"

"I'm just not" I spat at him.

"Woah, easy there killer" he chuckled.

"Sorry" I said and turned around and looked out the window.

The rest of the bus ride was quiet between him and I.

In school, he sat with me at lunch and tried making conversation. It was going good until he had to ask me why I don't like people. And then when I told him that I have my reasons, he asked what are they. And when I told him I don't wanna talk about it, he didn't question me anymore.

While we were at lunch a bunch of so called popular kids came up to us and looked at Liam and said "why you hanging out with the emo chick?"

Liam spoke up for me then "I don't see any emo stuff on her and I would rather hang with her than a bunch of stuck up bitches like you." The girls were shocked and looked at each other, then Liam then me.

The main girl, Melanie, flipped her hair walked away and her crew followed her.

I looked at Liam and he was smiling at me. I had to admit he looked like an adorable puppy.

"What was that for?" I asked Liam.

"I always stick up for friends" he answered, still smiling.

I looked at the table and started picking at my nails "they were right though. With me being emo."

"Your not emo love."

I looked at him and knew there was something about him telling me I can trust him. I shook my head at him and lifted up my sleeve and showed my arm to Liam.

Liam looked confused but looked on my arm. He gasped.

"Bay? You have cuts all over your arm!"

"I know."

"And that's why they're calling you emo?"

I nodded my head at him and tears started pouring down.

"Why do you do it though? There has to be a reason."

I looked at him then and he wiped away my tears.

"I don't wanna talk about it right now if you don't mind" I said quietly.

"That's perfectly fine love. Hey how bout this, you come over to my place tonight and you can tell me everything. Sound good?" Liam asks.

I smiled a little "I'd love that."
