Matts POV
I was waiting outside for carllen when the one and only Lacey came up to me " hey " she said I didn't want to talk to her " what do you want Lacey " I said annoyed " is that any way to talk to me " she said as If she was my mother ,
I just simply walked away from her and turned the corner where she followed me " I'm not done talking to you Matt " she said grabbing my arm " well I am so leave " I hissed at her when she smashed her lips to mine i have no idea what had just happened until a familiar voice called me " Matt " it was carllen I pushed Lacey off of me and looked at her she had tears already streaming down her face " c-carllen I can explain but it was too late she had already ran away .

Carllens POV
"Matt " I said as he pulled away from Lacey he couldn't I didn't believe he would kiss her " c-carllen I can explain " he said but I had already started running I couldn't stop crying I just had to get away from him , I could hear Matt calling my name but not from far he was a fast runner but I was a few feet ahead I was about to run across the street when !!!BANG!!! Everything went black .

Matts POV
I couldn't just leave carllen I had to go after her I was calling her name multiple times I wasn't that far from her when I heard a !!!BANG!!! My heart dropped when I saw carllen laying on the road she looked dead I ran to her side and she was breathing and the driver came out of the car " oh my god is she ok " said the man " call 9-1-1 " I yelled at him I held carllen in my arms holding her until to paramedics arrived They took her right away and I had to follow them I grabbed my phone and called my mom

Me-mom u need to come to the hospital
Bri-why are u ok
Me-carllen was hit by a car
Bri-I'm on my way
I hung up and arrived at the hospital she was rushed into emergency and I was left to wait in the waiting room until Carllens mom and my mom came in I hugged them " what happened " asked Clair " she was hit by a car " I said putting my head in my hands this is all my fault  no this is all Lacey's fault she did this she's the reason carllen is in the hospital .
It's been 5 hours and the doctor finally came I stood up wanting to know how she was " doc how is she " I asked worried " and you are " he asked concerned " I'm her boyfriend " I said " ok well she is in a stable position right now but she will remember everything and she should go home any day " he said " can I see her " I asked " yeah but not for long she needs her rest " he said showing me to her room I walked in and she was asleep the doctor left me in the room and shut the door I sat in a chair that was beside her I held her hand I can't stand seeing her laying there in that bed and it drives me crazy not being able to hold her ,
I was just sitting there when carllen opened her eyes.
