"Agh. Well today's Tuesday. Which means," I got out of bed, "Early out schedule!"
I did my daily routines, watched TV, and before I left I took my leather green jacket with me. I always take it when I go somewhere. I went down stairs, got in my car, and left the buildings. I headed straight to school without forgetting anything, then again I just remembered what happened to Rei yesterday. Hope that doesn't happen again.
I arrived at school and parked in my place. Leaving the registration paper able to be seen, I locked the car and walked to my homeroom. As I was walking through the hallways, I noticed not many students were around. I checked my phone; it read. 7:15 AM.
"Jesus! I got here early without even noticing!" I thought to myself.
I decide to wonder around the school. Then I heard a familiar, yet annoying, voice. Sasha. I was curious so I walked to the direction it came from. An intersection appeared and so I turned right to a short yet empty hallway. I walked through it and then saw Neige back up from something. Just as I was about to greet her, she was pushed by someone hard enough to loose her balance. I reacted quickly and ran towards her. I dropped my body to the ground and slid to catch Neige from hitting the ground. Her eyes were close shut, bracing for impact.
"You okay?" I asked.
She opened her eyes and automatically, here face went to a dark shade of red.
"Ugh! You again!" Sasha said.
Knowing it was her, I replied back without looking at her, "Ugh. You again?"
"Shut up! You ruin everything!" She stomped her foot.
"What happened this time?" I asked looking up.
"Well I asked her if she can let borrow some money. But she was so rude and tried running away from us" She said making it sound she she was innocent.
Neige and I both stood up. I took out my wallet, "How much did you ask?"
"$10. But she-!" I cut her off.
"Here. Take it. Now screw off will ya?" I handed her some cash.
She took the bill in shock. Then her old expression returned.
"Hmph!" She said and turned around leaving us alone.
"Y-You didn't have to do that" She said looking down.
"Nonsense. I didn't want that bitch forcing you money. I know she didn't ask. I'm 95% positive she tried cornering you, take your stuff, snatch your money, and leave with her feeling like a bad ass" I explained.
"H-How would you know?" She asked looking up.
"Trust me. She does that quite often" I chuckled.
"W-Well see you in fourth period" She softly said walking away.
I stared at her walking away from me until she disappeared by turning a corner.
I sighed, "There's something special about her."
I checked the time, reading 7:22 AM. I decided to buy a drink from the vending machine outside. When I as heading towards the main hallway, I bumped into someone when turning the corner.
"Oh whoops. Sorry about that, you okay?" I asked the person.
"Yea I'm fine" She said.
Then we both made eye contact, "Wait a sec..."
We both said at the same time,
"You're Joseph's little sister, right?"
"You're Joseph's best friend, right?"
Then we said "Yes" in unison.
