Kian's Sister

Chapter 1

           I wake up and just sit there in my bed for a while just thinking, thinking about what my life in California was going to be like.  I am relieved at the thought that I will be away from my step dad.  As I start to get up I realise I need to get ready for school or I will be late getting there. 

          I decide to put on a pair of plain black leggings and a black polka dot long sleeve sweater.  It was hot outside but i wore a long sleeve sweater so that no one could tell there were fresh cuts on my arms from almost a week ago they were going away.  In a day you won't be able to tell so i wouldn't have to make Kian worry.I have doing this for a while and Kian still doesn't know I am afraid to tell him what goes on with my step dad.  Nobody knows about it not even my mom it just goes right under her nose because she is so busy with work. 

           "Shit", I was going to be late if I didn't leave right now.  I would graduate earlier in the year in the year because I doubled up on classes last year, so I will graduate in the middle of the school year.  I hurried and grabbed my keys, phone, and wallet.  Then i headed out the door.  My mom was outside warming up her car  so my dad couldn't hit me today.     

           When I got to school I finally had a chance to check my phone and I had three text messages from Kian.

Kian- Good morning beautiful !!!

Kian- Hello??

Kian- Ok text me later beauty love you!!

Me- Sorry I was really busy this morning...

Kian- It's ok i get it, so r u excited for Sunday??

Me- Ya super excited I got to go to class talk 2 u later love you!!

                                                           Back to story format

                  After school I walk home and my mom wasn't home yet so as quietly as I could peeked inside.  He was asleep on the couch so I snuck up the stairs as quietly as I could.  I was in my room for about twenty minutes, then all of the sudden he barged in without knocking.  He sat on the bed and tried to kiss me.  He hasn't tried to do this before it was different from him.  I pushed him away as he was trying to pull me closer to him, I got him off then before I could see it he slapped me.  Hard on the face but i knew it wasn't hard enough to leave a bruise though he is careful of that.

                He left my room my mom came home about 45 minutes after that and there was barely any red on my face left so i decided to go downstairs.  I went into the kitchen and he was in there and he told me if I didn't keep quiet he would hit me again so I decided to keep my mouth shut.  I made myself some dinner and then went back up to my room.  After I ate I layed in bed and was thinking a little and I guess I fell asleep.
