I sat straight up gasping for air the sheet falling around me. I looked around the room and remembered where I was and who I was with. Theo woke up slowly and sat up kissing my back. I shook my head pulling my sheet up.

"You should go," I said. Theo looked at me in confusion half asleep. "Theo," I said angrily.

"Okay," he said. "I'm going." He stood and got dressed and left shutting the door behind him. I stood and got in the shower. I scrubbed myself clean and just sat on the floor in the shower. I hugged my knees to my chest and buried my head in my knees. Tears fell silently down my cheeks as the shower drowned out the sound. My razor blades were sitting on the floor near me and I couldn't keep my eyes away from them. I reached out slowly towards them my hands shaking. I grabbed one and held it between my fingers. I took a breath and dragged it across my wrist. Three, four, five cuts down my scarred wrist. The water stung the cuts but I couldn't help the feeling.

I sat there ten minutes longer and then got up. I dropped the blade and stood getting out of the shower. I wrapped up in a towel and looked at myself in the mirror. I looked tired and pale. I sighed and turned away. I loosely tied my hair back and got dressed. I pulled on my jeans and a long sleeve black shirt. I put deodorant on and perfume. I yanked on my shoes and grabbed my jacket and left my room. I didn't know where I was going and I didn't care.

I found my way outside into the cold December air. I could see my breath in the air. I walked further away from the building and into an old church. It was broken down with holes in the walls. It was surprisingly beautiful in here. I walked slowly trying to avoid the broken glass and fallen chandelier. I sat in the first row and looked up at the mosaic stained glass window.

"Beautiful isn't it?" a voice said behind me. I jumped and turned around to see who it was. It was a guy, he was tall with shaggy black hair and bright bright blue eyes. He wore a leather jacket and a pair of jeans that fit him nicely.

"Yeah it is beautiful," I said turning back around. The guy walked up and sat next to me.

"I didn't think anyone knew about this place," he said. "You are either new or exploring the school."

"Both," I said.

"Welcome to Ceaderwood," he laughed and I couldn't help but laugh too. "You got something on your mind?"

"Me?" I asked.

"No the invisible person sitting next to you." I laughed again.

"Sorry," I laughed. "It has been one interesting day."

"Yeah well the first day always is." I heard my name over an intercom and winced. "That wince tells me that was your name."

"Let's not hold that against me," I laughed standing up. He laughed at me and called a good night. I waved over my shoulder and wandered back to the building. I walked back into the building and was immediately met with an angry face.

"Where were you?" they asked. It was the guy behind the counter from earlier.

"Out," I breathed. "What do you need from me? Its like nine at night."

"Meds," he said. He handed me a cup with three pills in it; one for the pain, one for the bone graph and another for something along with the graph. I recognized the shape, color, size of these pills they were mine. I downed them and swallowed the water too.

"Open," he said. I looked at him.

"Really?" I laughed. "I'm five again." I opened my mouth and he looked in my mouth checking for the pills.
