The first thing I realized was that I was cold. I realized that I was drenched in sweat and was laying behind some gas station. It was late. There was no one around and everything was dark. I sat up, and as I did so I felt a splitting pain in my head. I winced and my hand flew up to my temple. A large lump protruded from the fringe of my hair line, and it hurt to touch. I got up, and realized I needed to go home.

That's when it hit me. I felt a sickening drop in the pit of my stomach and I fearfully groped in my pockets, looking for a phone, ID, anything. I found a wallet, inside was stached a few wads of hundred dollar bills, but nothing else. No drivers liscense, no credit card. I frantically searched myself, looking for some sort of answer. Nothing. I slumped down against the wall of the small dingy building and let the hopelessness and fear consume me. Questions flashed through my mind. "How did I get here?" "Where was I?" "What happened to me?" But the question that really concerned me was this:

     "Who am I?"
